The Butterfly Garden serves as a source of knowledge and inspiration to help the community understand not only the problems faced by these pollinators but to also provide solutions to assure their survival.
The Butterfly Garden is a 17,000 sq. ft garden comprised of many diverse native perennials that provide food and shelter for many pollinators.
Native and non-native annuals are also planted in beds and planters. All
plants and flowers within the garden are known to attract and sustain butterflies, bees, and other pollinators.
We hope to provide garden beds that the community can admire and re-create for their own homes and open spaces.
Volunteers are the foundation for all the wonders the garden brings! From planting, to helping with crafts, to event set up, to garden clean up...it is only through the efforts of dedicated volunteers that The Butterfly Garden can impact the health and well-being of these crucial pollinators.
