My name is Lori, also known as The Cake Lady. My nephew gave me this name when he was little because he couldn't say my name. He would tell his mom, "You know that cake lady that makes cakes for us" so they started calling me The Cake Lady. When it comes to baking, I love doing different things. I love making recipes people give me from their country or their childhood, I love seeing their smile when they taste something that reminds them of something they love. I'm working on The Lovers product line. This will be 4 inch cakes for two that look like all the big cakes.
Its important that we all give to those in need and to support the ones out there in the trenches doing the hard work. 10% of our profits from every cake will go to Hearts of the Father Orphan Ministry. The founding vision of this ministry incorporates 10 to 20 orphans gathered in a loving home with a husband-wife couple as the house parents. The goal is to raise these children in a family type setting. There, they receive love, support and mentoring form a father and mother who have a heart for God and a heart for children.
