Suuuuuper cute candy shop! The milkshakes are like bloody mary monstrosities - but with candy, frosting, syrup and ice cream. Such a cute idea! The shop is bright and fun and we'll be back!
It was so delicious! All the shakes sound so good, so I will definitely be back to try some more! Also, the girls wore gloves and were very clean and organized while they made them and while stocking some containers.
There is a great selection of candy in this store. My roommates and I have been in the store previously and were nothing but impressed with the selection of candy and a very attentive employee. We though this would be a great stop after some birthday sushi. However, tonight has been dubbed "a Birthday Disappointment". We walked into your store right before 7pm on the night of 10/28. Upon arrival we were not greeted by the employee working and we were ignored for nearly 10 minutes as we waited SITTING at the bar. We were only acknowledged when we walked over and told her we were ready to order. We ordered our two milkshakes: a Candy Jar and a Cookie Cliff. We proceeded to sit at the bar for over 20 minutes before we were served. We waited 20 minutes before being served the two drinks that were slowly made in front of us. Rather than conversing with us at the bar, we were left to silently gaze at the empty containers that were being scraped for our shakes. When we were given our drinks, our drinks tasted stale and were completely melted, with the outside decorations sliding down the cup. A fellow customer sat next to us at the bar and waited to be served, without acknowledgement. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. We then stood by the register for another 10 minutes without the employee even recognizing that we were ready to go. After such a long wait for our shakes we were already late for an event after and had chosen to ignore the fact of the untimeliness, until we once again had to ask for her assistance. We are disappointed and sad that this experience happened...even the shake we were served was served with a sad face rather than the smile depicted on the menu.
By far one of the cutest candy shops I've been in. With a lovely selection of old and new candy it's worth the stop by. It has the vibe of an old-school icecream parlor mixed with a cute little candy shop. I'd highly recommend it!
Main issue was the price. The candies are the same basic things you can find at any gas station or grocery store, but with drastically higher prices. It cost almost $25 to buy what would have been $3- or $4-worth of candy anywhere else. It might have made sense if they were unique or niche candies, but they were basically your average gummy bears and the like. Haven't tried the milkshakes, but I doubt I'll be back for them. My recommendation: save your money and go across the parking lot to Smith's for the same candy at a fraction of the price.
Gotta agree with the other reviewers. Showed up at about 3:30 on a Tuesday. Lights off- no sign of human life inside. The hours on the door are listed as 1-7 for all days but closed mondays. Different to Google's info. And just from the door I could tell their supplies were dwindling. Two stars since everyone is having worker issues now not just this store but this is definitely an unusually bad case.
This place was very disappointing. Unbelievably expensive for candy that was nothing special at all, very basic candy that could be found at any grocery store, and there’s no prices on anything. When I mentioned the lack of price tags they said it’s “because we would have to go put little tags on every item and we just don’t do that.” correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure putting price tags on every item is common place in any business. Having to ask for a price on every item we were interested in was very frustrating. Also the blonde girl behind the counter was rather unfriendly. So in conclusion I would only go here if you looking to spend a ridiculous amount of money on totally basic candies and repeatedly interact with unfriendly lazy employees. Also we were completely unaware that they served milkshakes, didn’t notice that until I read the other reviews . Guess we missed out on the 1 part of the shop that might have been worth experiencing.
A must for anyone living in Bozeman or traveling through! HUGE selection of vintage candy, along with new favorites. Words do not even begin to describe the amazing soda fountain. Just go...take my word for it!
Came to grab a basic milkshake, what we got was half a tin, poured into a bag for $8. Just a normal shake, double the price, for half the amount. It was $15 for the more fancy versions, no thanks. Save your money and go to 5 guys or literally McDonald's. So disappointed.
This place is a joke. 15$ "mug" shakes yeah right! And who puts milkshakes in bags that taste like melted ice cream. Also the candy is hard as a rock due to sitting around for months. Might as well go to WinCo to get a larger selection and at an affordable price.
