Awesome experience from the moment I met Jorge in West Palm Beach - Lake Worth who went over all the information with me in a clear way with great options. He promptly responded to my texts and emails. Angelo made a great 1st impression when I initially called the office, he took a personal interest in my goal. The inspectors were also great. I passed all 3 portions of each test the 1st time. Class A. The other local school offered only 2 options and were much more expensive. Remember you get back all that you put in, so give it all that you have the 1st time and you will also pass in round one. Good luck !
I took the test in July 20th, 2017 to get a CDL, at the time I asked to do it on the Manual truck, test was done on a manual semi truck. in 2021 my new restricted driver license arrived in the mail, I called this school and they told me that to take the re-test they would charge over 500 dollars, an absurdity, and it was their mistake. I do not recommend this school. Oliveira Lopes, Leonardo
My only wish is that i had a extra day or two to be fully prepared without paying extra, “400” but other than that if you pay attention youll pass i just got my cdl today and id 100 percent recommend this school andy is great very responsive and helped me out when things were looking rough and also GO TO FORT PIERCE for training i heard miami sucks
Visited their satellite office, Mr Angelo and Mr Cody provided an excellent service and counseling. I was skeptical about, having some experience driving trucks in the Army, I was afraid of having to pay or do the whole training program, like other schools was trying to do. Cody was able to tailor and work around of my previous experience, he explained all the program, training and classes offered by the school, and at no point tried to upsell or forced me to buy anything not needed. The instructors down in Miami were also great, Ivan and Ruben were above and beyond on the shifting classes, their away of teaching and the calm and patience were key. Again, big shout to Angelo and Cody. Thank you guys. Those guys deserve 10 stars.
My experience was horrible i was charge 450.00 over the phone via text message only to come find out that it was in Miami and i was in Lake Worth so i had to rush to my so called 1pm-3pm one on one training when i got there i expected to be practicing in a 53ft not a 28ft trailer. The instructor blew me off at 3pm whenhe arrived at 1:20pm and the training was plain, i could have done this a my job in the truck. I didn't benefit a single thing from this.
This a great CDL school for new opportunity. I applied at the Lake worth site where I met Angelo Front Desk Receptionist and Jorge Recruiter. They did a great job explaining to me what to expect and how the job placement for the program works. While this is a remote location to the main campus located in Miami, they were able to schedule classes and further assist me on the type of CDLs available. They'll be a deposit required around 100 to proceed further with application and to secure your place for training. As a person that never operated a big vehicle before, I started with their CDL Class A Manual Transmission Training with the 4 weeks of training. The first week was school and obtaining the permit. Alfredo, my professor was great with explaining what we needed to know for the 3 big tests required for the permit. Once the permit was completed, you go to the field and practice driving. Chris did an AWESOME job teaching me my backing maneuvers. Although I was slow to catch on to the offset, he stood by me and pushed me until I got it. Alvino, Paul and George really helped me with the on-road training portion especially with my shifting. While very nervous, I eventually mustered up the courage to pass the Road Test 2nd time around after the extra training with Juan. To note, if you have any problems or unsure about your driving skills, they have private training classes for an additional cost. All in all, great service and I'll be recommending this CDL school to my friends. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!!
Can't really give them a positive or a negative feedback so I'm going to stay with three stars. I walked in the front door simply asked if the training was done locally because I didn't see any trucks. They said no you have to drive 55 minutes every day each way to training facility in Miami. The gentleman inside stated that he's only a satellite office. The gentleman working there wasn't very friendly or customer service oriented. I had to stand inside for a couple minutes before I was even greeted. I was pretty disappointed because I have a class b CDL and I'm looking to upgrade immediately.
Staff and Teachers were Professional and Honest throughout course. First of all, Angelo the Assistant at the Lake Worth location was absolutely wonderful. He truly genuinely cares and will do whatever it takes to find an answer or resolution and call you right back! Also, Thank You to my Test Examiner Pete. He is definitely the right guy for this job, everyone knows it’s not easy being in a HUGE apparatus with someone watching your every move but Pete made you feel comfortable but stayed professional at the same time. Lastly, Reuben....what else can you say? He is a top notch educator. Calm, cool & collective. He is an asset to the CDL School and every student that’s taken the class. Thank you to everyone! Now time to find a job
I called the CDL school for some information. A gentleman by the name of Mr. Angelo answered the phone. He asks my permission to place me on hold and I was taken back because now a days when you call they just place you on hold without asking. He picked up the phone and explained the number of courses and that it would be best to set up an appointment. He answered additional questions when asked and he was very polite and informative. I just want CDL to know Mr. Angelo is an asset to your company, excellent customer service.
Four years ago The CDL School Miami was very professional and I received my CDL as agreed. However, Cody, Jorge, Francis and JC have led me on a path over 8 Months, they can't or don't want to schedule a Road Test to validate Manual Transimission operation. JC was quick to get me to sign document for 250$ payment and then tell me no test was available. If you are prior military with VA benifits be aware.
