The Centennial Building (the Whitby Courthouse)

I had my mom’s birthday celebrated here. It’s one of the perfect venue to book at. Staff hired are all respectful and very kind and helpful, we did not expect a quality service like that from them. Very nice, spacious, old-style building, much heritage in the building.

I read up on the history of this gorgeous building and was pleasantly surprised to discover they restored original designs and maintained the property in a beautiful manner. While visiting the historic site, I enjoyed a pleasant, peaceful walk while imagining the building as the county courthouse it once was. Now a must visit theatre and dream destination wedding venue!

We had our wedding here. It was a great location, as there is a theatre with comfortable seating, a great dining room upstairs, and elevator to serve the needs of elderly relatives. Staff was a great help, and there was plenty of room to keep bridal party private until the ceremony. Great location with plenty of parking, we couldn't have a better venue. Beautiful gardens out front. The only complaint would be lack of air conditioning, which could be in issue mid summer. Thanks so much!

This is a nice historic building in downtown Whitby. The auditorium is very small - seriously. The bathrooms are clean. The parking lot can get very crowded depending on how many people are there. There is some on street parking available but watch the signs so you don’t get a ticket.

This older structure in Whitby, Ontario has amazing, old architectural design throughout its structure! This building or parts of it are rented out to organizations or groups at a reasonable cost! Graduations have been held at this facility! The upper level could be used as a dance floor! The seating is comfortable and arranged like in a movie theatre setting! I felt like I went back in time when I entered this amazingly, beautiful structure!

Nice building in old Whitby. They host a local meeting I attend monthly. Lots of space, good catering etc. Always an enjoyable visit.

WHAT a great meeting place. Went to a BACD meeting here and rooms were bright, large and airey. Restrooms clean and bright. Great venue address here, folks!

Great old building. Newly renovated. Nice small theatre-no bad seats.
