Dr. Ingber, director of The Center for Specialized Women's Health http://www.specializedwomenshealth.com/, division of Garden State Urology, trained at the Cleveland Clinic where he completed a two-year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. He was a clinical instructor at the Cleveland Clinic and received specialty training in the treatment of urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, female sexual dysfunction, and robotic and laparoscopic surgery. He part of the team which performed the world's first removal of a kidney through a single vaginal incision.

Dr. Ingber is an innovator in minimally-invasive surgery, also performing the world’s first reported single-incision “scarless” laparoscopic posterior uterine suspension in 2010. Dr. Ingber was trained at the Wayne State University School of Medicine where he graduated with honors in 1998 followed by a six-year residency in Urology at William Beaumont Hospital. He serves as the Director of Urogynecology for Saint Clare’s Health System in northern New Jersey, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, NY.
Dr. Ingber's clinical interests include the treatment of urinary and pelvic disorders. He specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of urinary incontinence and voiding dysfunction in men and women, pelvic organ prolapse, and pelvic pain disorders. He has a special interest in the evaluation and treatment of female sexual dysfunction, including problems with sexual desire and painful intercourse.
Dr. Ingber has published numerous manuscripts and book chapters on urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, interstitial cystitis, neuromodulation, and the treatment of female sexual dysfunctions. He has presented at many national and international meetings. Dr. Ingber travels often to impoverished areas in Africa where he performs surgery to repair damaged bladders due to prolonged labor. Recently, he started a foundation which sends surgical teams to these areas several times a year in order to serve this population of women. Dr. Ingber is a reviewer for eight major journals in the field of urology and urogynecology. He is an active member of the American Urological Association, International Urogynecology Association, Society for Urodynamics and Female Urology, and the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health.
