If I could give negative stars I would! This hospital is absolutely horrible! My daughter had to be admitted and the chair and couch in her room had BED BUGS!!! The entire time she was there a week I had to BEG for them to come suction her nose out when she was literally choking and couldn’t breath! The monitors would go off for 30 minutes to an hour and nobody would come. I couldn’t sleep because I didn’t trust them to come in and help her if she was choking. The nurses except one were extremely rude and unhelpful. The residents have no clue what they’re doing and don’t know how to communicate. I asked so many times what was going on and what the plan was and was kept in the dark until 2 days before leaving. I begged to have her transferred to OU and they wouldn’t. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BABIES HERE!!!!
Do not come to this hospital. Waiting is outrageous. 7hrs!!! Just to get a CT scan back. One lady was here almost 8hrs just trying to get her grandson checked for seizures. My daughter had a seizure as well. I understand having most serious cases first but we both sit here and watched the waiting room almost clear and still nothing was done about our cases. Will not be using this hospital again.
If I could give this hospital negative stars I would. The worst place to ever take you’re child! Please do not go here! The nurses, residents and even the doctors don’t care! They will not answer any of you’re concerns/questions about you’re child. Whenever you press the call light button for the nurses to come they will not answer it and never show up. You have to go out of the room and to their station just to get them to help you. None of them know how to do simple math to convert the kilograms into pounds for you’re child’s weight. They blamed me for their thermometer because they couldn’t find it. The pricing for food is ridiculous if you do have to be admitted. The entire hospital is absolutely disgusting! Face mask just thrown all in the elevators. The room we was staying in was covered in dirt and our feet stuck to the floor. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in who knows when. Roaches in our room. And this is supposed to be a children's hospital? I’m absolutely disappointed. This USED to be one of the best places to take you’re child. Not anymore. They have gone WAY downhill! We will never take our child here again! We will always go to Tulsa Hillcrest where they actually care about my child. Saint Francis do better! There is so many bad reviews on here. Please do something so other parents don’t have to put there children in this horrible hospital! As parents we expect nothing but the best when it comes to healthcare for our children, we are trusting you to do a proficient job and to make our children feel better. Please nobody take you’re children here! You’ll be better off taking them somewhere else!
This USED to be a good hospital one of the best in my personal opinion now you'll wait all day to be seen. Hours go by children aren't fed and bored so ofc crying children. Nurses don't care she was literally otp about 10 minutes ago with one of her friends. I've seen this front desk lady give ONE CHILD multiple doses of medicine no one else. My children came in with fevers of 106 and 101 and the front desk lady failed to temp them at all and when I asked her was she supposed to do it because I seen her temping another child the same that she was giving the medicine to she said they'll do it in the back. I have a little video footage of this incident too. This hospital has gone DOWN HILL.
Dr Mary was super rude and unprofessional. Keep giving us the go around. When we told her our decision was to be discharge she went stomping out and told her whole night crew. I can clearly hear her. Made us feel very uncomfortable. She needs to be more professional as a Dr.
It would have been a 5 star rating if not for the problems we went through getting prescriptions filled. I can’t say enough good about surgeons and hospital staff. They were 5 stars One star for the pharmacy. The pharmacy did not get a Doctors signature and they called a Walmart pharmacy in another town. After we left, they promised that they got his prescription changed to our local Pharmacy, but that never happened. We contacted St Francis multiple times with promises it was fixed. Our original pharmacy did not have the pain meds and we were told it would be 4 days before they got it. Luckily our new local pharmacist not Walmart made multiple calls and got it sorted out for us. I was not looking forward toa weekend without pain meds for our son who just went through a major surgery and is in home but still in pain.
Our new born was in here for two months. During this time the hospital and staff was great. There was 2 or 3 nurses that need ZERO stars. If that happens you can always request a different nurse. Some of the staff need more training on how and what to inform the parents, with that said we were informed about much by the great nurses and asking questions.
Took my 6 year old daughter to the ER for a neck trauma last night. The doctor thought it was serious enough to take xrays, so we did and were told the radiologist would need appx 5 mins to read them and then doctor would update us within 30 mins. 4 hours later the radiologist still hadn't gotten around to it. Just before midnight with my daughter in pain, starving, and frustrated we cut our loses and left with no answers. Nurse told us that the doctor would text us if she found anything serious. Great job St. Francis! This place has mostly good workers but is horribly managed and an utter pathetic excuse for an "emergency" room.
I got to say..... THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ALL DR'S NURSES AND STAFF!! my family and I cannot say thanks enough! You saved my son's life and we are FOREVER grateful. From the moment we arrived the staff was nothing short of exceptional. Always friendly Always helpful Always awesome. Covid precautions are tip notch. We always felt safe and everyone there has full protection all the time. I LOVE YOU ST FRANCIS! This is the view from the 1st floor ICU.
This is by far the worst medical facility I have ever been to. Will not be going back. EVER. I'm a military veteran and my kids deserve better than to wait 4 hours to see the doctor. Poor excuse for an ER!
