I had to go with a 4. 5 stars on the drinks. They were really good. We got a chocolate martini and a salted caramel milkshake. 3 stars on the service if that. I felt like we were bothering them. We got in there about an hour before closing, but they looked at us like we were imposing on their closing time. We even told her we were JUST there for one drink. It wasn't a very inviting place. After reading some of the other reviews, it kinda makes me wish I read them before going in.

Drinks were better than the food. They were out of what I wanted for dinner which was a disappointment. For the prices, I had hoped for a more intimate setting.

If you love chocolate and anything decadent, you're going to love this spot. They even have make it yourself smores and chocolate martinis! I ordered the caramel latte, and Nutella crepes. I'm not a huge fan of ice cream, so I told them to hold off on that.  Cons: they charged me for an item that I didn't order. Then they came back with my new bill, with the item that I didn't order. When I questioned it, he said they charged $2 extra for some drizzle of caramel. I ordered a CARAMEL latte... Kinda ridiculous considering it wasn't even a caramel latte like I ordered, which should be infused in the coffee not drizzled on it. It's like ordering an ice cream sundae and they charge you extra for whip! Cool menu selection but with all the hidden fees, misleading and getting my bill wrong twice, I'll probably lay off of this place for a while.

I've heard many bad reviews of this place.  I personally thought the food and drinks were great, dinner and lunch.  The service has lacked a few times, just slow and when the restaurant is not busy.  Neat concept though

Good food, good service! First time try - got the Cuban sandwich and Mango Smoothie and was very impressed! Waited to be seated for a while though.

They have a wonderful selection of foods, and many are made with chocolate!!! I love their drink selection. The pictures were taken on my birthday!!!

First off, it’s not just a dessert bar. I was surprised to find a full menu when I went. I always get the Buffalo Nachos. They taste great and are more than enough food to split as a meal or appetizer. I like the food, but the service is always a little off. I’ve never had a good experience. Some of the staff seems a little scatter brained and not the best at waiting tables. I also don’t love the atmosphere/decor.

I walk by this place almost everyday and I have never seen all that many people in there. Tonight, my friends and I had dinner here before a show at the VBC.  The drinks were fine, but nothing that you couldn’t find somewhere else.  We had two different waitresses, neither of which were very attentive. My friends and I never had our drinks refilled the entire time. The food was disgusting. I had a chicken dish. The meat tasted frozen, and the sides were clearly from a can/bag. My friends had similar comments. Overall the food and service were poor enough for me to never return.  I guess I now know why this place always seems so desolate.

Alcoholic and none alcoholic drinks are fantastic, the hot chocolates suburbmy favorite, and the dessert exceptional. I rated this only four stars, because for me the food just does not do it for me. Innovative yes, but from the assortment of dishes I have tried, some are just to rich, and after a few bites i'm done and others are just lack luster. The waiters are great and energetic never rude far as I have experienced.

Upfront review: slow service, lousy food, loud, over priced  Like other people mentioned, the menu looks pretty good on paper - especially if you have a chocolate tooth. However, the entrees are poorly prepared and nowhere near worth the price. The service is incredibly slow... In fact, I can't think of a restaurant that I've been to recently or ever with slower service. The server seemed nice though. Next, it's super loud with an odd/poor music selection - probably not the right place to have a serious conversation with someone. The chocolatey drink menu looks delicious, but the martinis are not prepared with the appropriate proportions of liquor. I should say though, if you need your chocolate fix for dessert, you can get it here but at the price of your age, bank account, hearing and taste buds.
