The Classical Academy Middle School

As of this year all 3 of my kiddos go here! We’ve been to another public school and another charter in town, nothing else has compared to TCA even close. The value of the parent-teacher partnership is real and my kids’ character and watching them grow into exceptional humans seals the deal. We are forever thankful we were recommended to check this school out 4 years ago!

TCA goes above and beyond to help students do their very best. From the small classroom size, access to classroom tutors, after school programs for kids that need a little extra help, to the accomodations they make for kids that need a little extra movement during the day in order to focus. The administration is dedicated and truly fantastic. We've also had the privilege of having some of the very best teachers around. We love this school.

I can not express enough my appreciation for this school. This school loves their students and families. Staff goes out of their way to make the school feel like a community. This school not only focuses on academics but the character of each individual and making each person feel valued.

TCA has been such a blessing. The support is extraordinary, the teachers are wonderful, and the community support and involvement is phenomenal. I love their mission and the care that my child receives. They give lots of opportunities for input and involvement from families as well.

TCA is an amazing school and our family couldn’t be happier to have our daughter attend. The staff is friendly helpful when you need to interact with them. Academically they are preparing our daughter for higher education and she excels in all of her core classes. We have experience with multiple local schools but hands down this one is our favorite! I highly recommend TCA.

I cannot say enough great things about this school. We take education very seriously and looked into many schools before deciding on TCA. This is our 3rd year at the north campus and we are so grateful we found TCA. We love that they focus on character development, teaching things like integrity, respect, truth, and service. Academically the curriculum has been great and challenging, but not too heavy for younger kids. We find the amount of homework for younger kids appropriate so far which was a concern of mine. Our kids are learning and engaged and I love that they teach Spanish at an early age. We have been impressed by the teachers and staff as they go above and beyond and seem to truly care about our kids, and the connection to the community of families through volunteering and events has been amazing. We drive far to take our kids here and it is absolutely worth it for our family! I know that charter schools and classical education are not a fit for everyone, but we have been thrilled with our experience thus far! Thanks TCA for everything you do for our kids!

All students are expected to stay at the same level regardless of learning disabilities. “Special Education” is one hour or less per day with added work. Not assessing the child, and forcing them to learn at the same level, adds extra stress on the child that impacts their emotional health. Look at the statistics of the TCA high school students and what has happened when they “struggled”. As a result this school impacts our children’s mental health in the long run.

Everyone has high expectations of this school because it is excellent! And yet no school can meet every possible expectation. In some ways, that’s the beauty of TCA. TCA is an educational choice. It may not be a fit for everyone. And that’s ok. But for those families that choose it, it is often a beautiful fit. Our family has been blessed by the heartbeat of the school.

I could not be more grateful for this school. The staff from teachers, tutors, admin and the office team are AMAZING! They truly care about my students and work hard to help them learn and succeed.

This school teaches at a high academic level, math, spelling, science, athletics, creative arts, etc. Very knowledgeable teachers, staff is amazing, many activities held onsite. Your kids will be well prepared for college by the time they graduate 12th
