The Clearstory is a 28,000 square foot retail, office and residential project at 400 East Main Street in downtown Chattanooga. This represents an adaptive reuse of a historic and significant local landmark.
"When Chattanooga Workspace, a longtime home to local artists, closed in 2020, artists found themselves dreaming of a new space where an artist community could grow and thrive. Together they worked to create new affordable studio spaces that could support local artists.Artists in the space have cast a vision for a community that is collaborative, thriving and supportive of one another. They also believe in the importance of being part of the larger arts community in Chattanooga."
