Samira Siwakoti, 31, was working at the Rapido Convenience Store at 7420 Main St. on Wednesday, June 10th, between 10am and 11am when a man came in and shot her in the face during a robbery, said The Colony police Lt. Darren Brockway. She and her husband, Nadaraj Siwakoti, 37, owned the store.
Her death has been ruled a homicide, according to the County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The suspect fled the scene in a black four-door vehicle after taking cash from the register, police said.
Raj & Samira Siwakoti leaves behind two daughters, approximate ages 9 months and 28 months.
