This place has really turned around!! It is much much cleaner now and the merchandise is not junky or broken like it had been in the past! Also I have noticed EVERYONE pays the same price now, before a select few were given first pick of choice on items. Thank you for cleaning up the place.
I use to LOVE this store ! Always found that special thing I was looking for or needed. Enjoyed the ladies, we would laugh a talk. It was my ,me time. I liked have ladies there ,that where happy to see you. Now its almost empty. No where near the stock they once had. Staff could care less who you are or how long you been coming there. Seem glad to get you out of their way. Had gone in about 2 months,so drop by this week. SO sad ! They had a good thing going where a lot of people shopped and gave back to the community. Not now ! I, like a lot of others are looking for a new Thrift store. Sad how it's been thrown apart.
This store has gone downhill fast since the new administrator took over. Not one person from the front of the store to the back has a clue what they're doing. They are throwing away nearly all donations including brand new clothes and handmade quilts. Long time customers don't even want to go there anymore and people that have donated for years have stopped because it's going to the trash.
Unfortunately, the new management seems to be heading in the wrong direction with the thrift store. Sadly, its not even worth visiting or donating to anymore.
This is all I ever want in a thrift store. Their prices are low and they get a good amount of donations. Which means they move stuff quickly into the hands of those who need it. I go there about every 2 weeks and there is usually plenty of new stuff to browse. Well organized and air conditioned, friendly staff, and they often put entire rooms of items on sale depending on what they are getting in donations.
Full disclosure, I walked in 35 minutes before what we thought was closing time 5:30pm, as shown on this Google page! As soon, as we walked in at 4:55, a lady yelled, “we’re closed!” very rudely and curtly. Apparently, they close at 5pm and don’t update their hours online. I explained that we were sorry, as we were going off of the closing time on Google. The lady continued to rudely point at a sign repeatedly, even though it wasn’t 5pm yet. She wasn’t kind in the least bit about our mistake, or did she even offer to let us browse quickly until 5pm. I walked away very ruffled and slightly offended. For a Christian operation, no sense of love or Christian care was offered to us - not even politeness. You guys should update your hours and be sure to treat all of your customers with respect and kindness.
Good prices. Pretty good stuff. Ladies that work there are nasty old biddies, all with deep, phlegmy smoker's coughs, and the place reeks of their cigareet breath.
staff is super helpful and friendly. they have lots of stuff and among some of it there's bound to be some treasures. today I bought for a crazy low price a neat little swivel rocker. I am totally thrilled.
I always find Lots of great buys here! I like that this place is a nonprofit also & they help to serve our community when someone is in need. I always donate items from our household here. Everything is always priced very cheap and ALOT of the items are name brand and always in great condition.
They were very nice. I went during the middle of the day and they were pretty busy. Prices were good. Better than goodwill any day.
