Had dinner after long day at beach. Got seated right away outside by gators, no sooner did we get water's but storm rolled in. Restaurant staff hurried everyone with food inside love pros, where there were tables already ready. So impressive on a Sunday night. Food was so so delicious!Service: 5/5
Unbelievable. It was my wife's birthday, and we went out for dinner we had a group of 8 and they marked us for 9 with an automatic 18 percent gratuity we were swarmed with flies attacking our food and the waitress said there's nothing I can do to help you with that. Way over priced for the quality of food. 0/10 do not recommend Rooms: 1/5
The service was great, the food was good, the drinks were sweet, the menu options and ambiance were lacking. This isn't a high end or fancy place but the views and bungalows are cool and I can see why people go here. The food tasted fresh however unless you want the catch of the day or the one or two meat dishes, there aren't many options to continue coming back. I was surprised there were no sandwich or burger options, just for variety. Many of the dishes are fried. I enjoyed our visit but not sure I'll be back.
I ate at the tiki huts above the water, with an amazing view of the marina. The food was delicious and a great waitress. It was worth the 20 min wait for this experience. I saw baby alligators, fed the fish and enjoyed the salt air under the tiki hut. Food & drinks: Fish had to be caught that morning, delicious, moist, flavorful and awesome.
We had a 2 bedroom suite which was ok but not worth $478. The bathroom was so outdated 1960’s tile, etc. and the tub was nasty with mold, missing the soap dish & rust everywhere.Rooms: 3/5
This place was worth the wait. We waited over an hour to be seated. Once our food came...it was very impressive. I got the Antasia shrimp and lobster Mac & cheese side it was delicious and our server was great.
Bunch of a-holes! This is the most pet unfriendly and unprofessional marina we’ve been to. First of all, it’s not a “marina and resort” if you have a pet, it’s just a marina. Pets are allowed tolerated on the marina side, but not allowed anywhere else on the property, not the restaurant even outdoors, not the lounge, not the poolside, even though there’s no way to get from the marina to the street without passing through the hotel property. My wife wanted to get in the pool. We were sitting by the poolside with our goldendoodle dog while my wife took a dip, and the property manager came and asked us to leave. We said she was a service dog for my wife who has clinical anxiety, he didn’t believe us. Then we left. Half an hour later, I get a phone call saying we have to leave the marina, even though I’d already paid for 3 days, and this was our 1st day. No warning, no nothing! The reason we chose this marina over the Municipal Marina was the amenities, the pool, the restaurant etc, but if you have a pet, none of those amenities are available to you. So we left and went to the Municipal Marina, which is in a much nicer location, and no issues with pets.
The 1st time I was at the The Conch House was in the early 1990's. The meal was fantastic then and has been every year since while visiting family in St. Augustine. Introduced The Conch House to a couple who winter in Southern Florida and summer in Maine. He was a Chef for many years, and both of them were very pleased with their lunches and the location. I look forward to next year and having another excellent meal at The Conch House.
Beautiful dining outside on the water in private tiki huts the food was great and the service was great. It is pricey but it's for the spot I'm sureService: 4/5
Market Price fish, said to be Mahi, that were served luke warm, that were 2 paddies of chewy fish, like they were previously frozen, with grill marks made ahead. Barely enough pineapple salsa, and a cup of rice, and plantains that were hotter than anything on the plate, nowhere worth $34. Calamari was decent, breading a little heavier, all rings no tinacles, reach no lemon butter sauce, had to ask for marinara, but did like the banana pepper addition. Just okay probably won't return.
