I first tried these cookies back in high school which was over five years ago. And now I live just around the corner from the store! My all time favorite cookie spot. Black owned and woman owned too . I love going here to satisfy my sweet tooth. The strawberry shortcake is worth the hype.
Of all the gourmet cookie places that I have been to this is THE place.The Cookie Jar makes the best tasting cookie hands down. We visited it today and were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and esthetic that the store is inside. The cookies were perfectly shaped. They were cooked and seasoned to perfection and the proprietor was there to kindly greet us. The cookies were $8.00 for three huge cookies. I bought a wonderful strawberry cheesecake cookie, a chocolate chip cookie and a pecan cookie. I hope that they are able to open other stores soon. And that people come from far and wide to buy those beautiful cookies!
I just tried The Cookie Jar for the first time today. Staff was very friendly. Lots of good looking cookies to choose from, but I bought the Circus Animal cookie. Oh My Goodness, very delicious! Best cookie ever! Their location is a bit hidden, not much foot traffic, so I am not sure how long they have been there, but I will be back when I am in the area.
First of all- cute name! We were greeted by a very friendly lady who happened to be the owner. She made us feel very welcome. I chose the Vegan banana chocolate chip. Fantastic flavors! I'm addicted already. My husband chose chocolate chip. He loved it! The cookies are $4.50 a piece or 3 for $12.00. Good sized too. VERY worth it. I also got one with sprinkles to go. Way better than cookie plug! Thank you Cookie Jar! We will return!
Each giant cookie is $3, but it's WORTH IT. They are big, soft and chewy, and oh so yummy. I got the three pack for $8. Oatmeal toffee pecan was DELICIOUS, as well as dense in a good way more worth the price. Peanut butter was fine, but tasted just like a typical peanut butter cookie so nothing super special. I also tried the sweet potato pie, which is essentially a cookie with a big splot of sweet potato pie in the center of it. Not something I would necessarily get again, but good for the seasonal aspect. But anyway, I will definitely be getting that oatmeal toffee pecan again!
I went into this place on a whim since it was national chocolate chip cookie day!!! It smelled amazing inside and it was clean. I was promptly greeted by the staff and the cookie clerk was very helpful and friendly. I got 3 of their cookies: chocolate chip of course lol, caramel butter toffee, and a snickerdoodle combo with some type of filling that was AMAZING!!! I would definitely recommend giving them a try because those cookies tasted so good! Oh and the cookies are HUGE so definitely worth the price as well!
The cookie jar is so delicious. I personally loved the strawberry shortcake. Hands down best cookies in town! Come get your cookies here they are worth it. Also I was greeted very kindly by the owner and her daughter very sweet and humble people
I had a chance to buy a few cookies Sunday from the pop up shop in L.A. Baaaaby when I tell you the cookies n cream and lemon cookies n cream was absolutely delicious. It's definitely worth the price. I am mad that she is located in Fontana but will definitely be following your page for future L.A trips.
We went there while Sweet Red Peach was there. We got there around 12:10 and waited in like around 30 minutes. I’m not sure if this if how it usually is, or due to the twofer. We grabbed products from both, but the cookies were loved by all. My nephew is allergic to dairy and he took DOWN the Vegan banana chocolate chip cookie. I love being able to make him smile, that cookie did the job. That alone is worth 5 stars. I really enjoyed the Reese’s peanut butter cookie. My daughters loved the regular chocolate chip. The cookies aren’t cheap, but they are a really good size, so look at it like 4 regular cookies. Looking forward to going back to try other flavors.
Sorry but these aren’t $4 cookies. Just because they’re big doesn’t justify the price. So big they are under cooked. I was one of the first customers. Wished them good prosperous luck in their new home. Started out thought I’d get hooked. Lots of good reviews. Wish mine could be better. Just one man’s opinion. I still wish them good. Give bigger discounts for larger quantity purchase. I don’t like the kids and the people who just hang around
