Providing services to Cooper Union and to students & faculty from institutions with consortial agreements. See website for more on access policies.
The Cooper Union Library is a private academic library. We are located on the ground floor of the landmark Foundation Building of The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, founded in 1859.
The Cooper Union Library provides research and academic support for the degree-granting programs of The Cooper Union. This support is manifest in the Library’s varied collections and subscriptions, as well as in its policies and programs designed to instill lifelong learning skills. The Library also functions as an institutional crossroads, in which students and faculty from across the college’s spectrum can meet and learn from each other’s disciplines and resources.
