The Cottage Gallery on Los Rios

We came in when they were closed for product rotation to find something my mom expressed her interest in the previous weekend when we visited. My mom was flying home the next day. They were closed but allowed us in and helped to find the painting we were looking for. Unfortunately the painting was likely sold so the owner helped find something similar my mom would like. We bought a beautiful oil painting of the Christmas boat parade which we took my mom to see. We left with something even better than what we came for. Excellent customer service going above and beyond. If I need another painting this place will get my patronage. Thanks again for making time to help us.

The Cottage Gallery is a converted home. What a super cute boutique shop full of art, jewelry, home goods, succulents and beautiful items. The ladies were so nice and inviting — have a good time perusing around!

Very friendly staff. We were trying to find a gift and the staff spent like 20 minutes finding a good one for us. The prices are also very reasonable. Very lovely little shop to visit.

We are never disappointed when we visit the cottage. Every nook and cranny is filled with beautiful art work created by local artists. You can find paintings, jewelry, woodwork, glass art, and items for your garden. You are always greeted by one of the artist and they have coffee and cookies to nibble on as you shop.

Beautiful collection of artwork displayed in a cozy one story home

‪The Cottage Gallery in San Juan Capistrano is quite fascinating and inspiring for those who love local artists and their beautiful artwork !! It exhibits a varied collection of 30 artists and their paintings, sculptures, sketches, ornaments and photos, all presented in the inviting rooms of this cute cottage. There’s also freshly made cookies and tea for the lucky ones. It’s definitely worth a visit... I it!‬
