The Country Bakery

I just finished an amazingly lush and tender raspberry filled Heavenly Bismarck donut bought from the nicest lady at Country Bakery in Middleton. My family and I are traveling to a college tour. We decided to take the back roads to check out the fall colors and I was hit with a donut craving. I googled donut shops near me thinking I'd find none. To my surprise Country Bakery was just 8 miles away. It's tiny but clean, fragrant and friendly and the donuts!!! The Donuts are sooo fresh and yummy. I told my husband next time I wanted donuts we are going on a road trip.

This place is one of the best bakeries around! Their apple fritters cannot be beat and the staff is always very friendly and attentive! I love to stop every chance I get!

The Pastie and gravy was delicious, the donuts were fresh and perfectly sugared. Their Tamales were fantastic and among the most authentic I have had in Michigan. Will be returning repeating my order and leaving with a bag of those Tamales!

The best donuts and cinnamon rolls around. Prices are reasonable. Sometimes they are out of what you want, but you can always call an order in advance to be sure you get what your sweet tooth is craving.

Tremendous baked goods! You have to try the fried cinnamon roll with maple frosting. Can't be beat! The owner and employees are very attentive, professional, and simply nice people! The world needs more places like this.

Family- owned business, friendly staff; best homemade donuts, pastries and breads in the area. My co-workers love when I bring in donuts from here. I recommend this business to everyone that may be looking for great donuts, pastries and homemade breads.

First time there . But have had their rolls and donuts before they are absolutely the best fresh every day! The apple fritter has real apple in them !!

Very nice small bakery. Bread is fair to good. Donuts are great especially the cake donuts sour cream, Apple cider, blueberry. Tried a breakfast sandwich today, it only took a few minutes and was really good.

very small bakery but the staff are excellent and the baked goods are top notch. Great pasties I would give it five stars, but it is so very small that there is not much to select from. I stop whenever I am nearby.
