Had Lunch there today June 13th they don't open till noon, little skeptical., never ate there before, Crawfish were EXCELLENT! OUTSTANDING! Seasoning was great, Lunch special $10.99 for 3lbs. Great deal. Very Impressed!
I don’t ever leave bad reviews but our experience was ridiculous. We sat for over 45 minutes and no one even acknowledged us. In fact, one of the ladies on the wait staff I only saw two was sitting at the table with other customers. They were carrying on while she had a room full of people waiting on her to take their order, refill their drinks or bring their check. The other one barely came out of the kitchen. Anytime someone did get one of their attention, they both would say they would be with them in a minute. That never came. The table next to us waited for a really long time too before finally getting served. After they placed their order, they were so kind & told the server no one had been to take our order either. The server completely ignored us & walked into the kitchen area. We stayed for a few more minutes & when no one came to us, we left. I understand being busy but goodness, don’t advertise “Customer Appreciation” night if you don’t have the staff to cover your customers, or if the staff you do have, blatantly ignore the customers.
Great crawfish! As Louisiana natives the crawfish was great. However, their service was slacking. Our appetizers came out after most of our food. 2 of the 3 kids meals got to our table in a timely manner. My husband's crawfish was brought to our table shortly after the kids. The last kid meal and my boiled shrimp came out 20 minutes after everyone else's.
We ordered fried fish and fried shrimp and an appetizer of fries mushrooms. The mushrooms came out cold and looked like they had been under a heat lamp for who knows how long- sent them back only to taste as if they had dumped them back in the oil to try and heat them up.... inedible. The fish and shrimp came out and it was better than the mushrooms but that’s not saying a whole lot. I didn’t know that fish turned into a finger food - had to ask for a fork. Overall the service matched the food ... terrible! Would not recommend to anyone who enjoys a good meal.
We love this place. It's our go to place for crawfish this year. Owners are amazing people. Always BYOB. Not a typical restaurant, wait times are longer than chain restaurants so sit & be patient - enjoy the experience. Limited menu so if you aren't going out for the crawfish you maybe disappointed in the other choices. We bring in outside food for kids McDonald's, Costco pizza. Very kid friendly place.
Very poor service. We waited longer than we should have 40 minutes thinking that someone would take our order. Wait staff seemed too busy sitting with other patrons than taking orders. The other one taking orders would just ignore the fact that she knew we were sitting there she put us at the table. This was supposed to be Customer Appreciation night, but this is not how you appreciate your customers.
Been there three times now. Today was horrible. Sat down and watched 2 wait staff walk by us more than once or twice without a glance for close to 10 minutes at least 5. We ordered the 5lb special and asked that we get 3lbs first separate and then the other 2 after. Waitress said no problem, very common request. Within like 4 minutes, she brought out a platter if crawfish and said enjoy. It was VERY obvious that it had been sitting already cooked, they were barely even warm, definitely not freshly cooked. We decided not to complain because we figured it happens sometimes and we would specifically request our next 2lbs to be much fresher. So when we finished, the waitress asked if we wanted to order more and we were confused. She said, "oh that was all 5lbs...thats what they told me when I was bringing them out of the kitchen." When she originally brought them to us, if this was the case, that should have been said immediately and we would have immediately asked for crawfish that was at least warm-hot. So we did not get our order the way we asked for it and a proper waitress practice would be to inform a customer if their order is changed. It is not always easy to automatically see the difference in 3 or 5 lbs because size makes a difference in the weight and it's never exact. We were extremely disappointed in this service and lack of it. The last time we were there it was great but for some reason today 4/21/19, it was a very very subpar experience.
Best crawfish by far! The owners are very attentive to customers!
Really great place to chill out with family and friends...loved the live music by Kevin Lamar and the friendly wait staff was super duty taking care of business..the owner is going to make make more improvements to make it a even better place and easy parking. The CRAWFISH WERE A 10, I don't see places that much that really know how to cook like the Louisiana Cajuns,but here is the place..and the Hamburgers are huge and delicious,I was very impressed.. so get out there and pass a good ole time wid Thibodeaux...yeeehahhh
We usually go here every year several times during crawfish season but this year the crawfish was extremely small and the shells were soft im not sure why . and i doubt we'll spend the money to chance bad crawfish again . sucks bc we did enjoy this place .
