Covering 50 acres of rolling east Tennessee countryside, The Crosseyed Cricket has 47 beautiful, wooded campsites with full hookups (30 and 50 amp), picnic tables and fireplaces.
Two bath houses with tiled floors and showers are available for your convenience, and both have adjacent laundry facilities.
Our 100 foot swimming pool and adjacent hot tub are all the more inviting because of the lovely rose bushes that surround them.
A large creek-side picnic shelter is available for group gatherings.
Because we know your campsite is your home away from home we have endeavored to make it special for you.
Some of our sites are near the pool and beside a small stream, and some are located in a grove of large hardwood and pine trees.
We think that you will find something just for you whether you're in a pop-up, trailer or motor-home.
The secluded, roomy group camp areas are well suited for scout, church or reunion camp-outs, and individual tent sites.
Water, electricity, fire rings and picnic tables help to make your stay enjoyable!

Our Picnic Shelter, Log Cabin and lakeside open Barn are all available for group or family get-togethers. Each has unique features and we're sure one will meet your needs. Contact us for rates for rental and availability of each unit. Although reservations are not accepted for campsites, reservations are required for use of these facilities.

We were long term residents for 3 and half years! Jean and Jim are the best Landlords great Christian people! Living in our 5th wheel it was like camping every day! Which we absolutely love!! We had great neighbors and anyone in need we were their for each other! Calvin went a few weeks ago to check on our neighbors and visit with one of them! We've been gone for 2 years now but we loved it here. They also have nightly rentals as well!! Beautiful creek, Beautiful Pond to fish which is catch and release and swimming pool with bath houses and washer and dryers!!! We recommend this place to everyone!!!
Homely rustic setting, complete with Norman Rockwells on the wall. Catfish as fresh as they come since you fish them yourself in the adjoining pond hardly a long wait or difficult to catch. Very friendly waitstaff and fair pricing overall. On the grounds you can also visit an old grist mill. Overall this is an unforgettable experience!
I travel with my husband from town to town with his job. We have been to a lot of RV parks and The Crosseyed Cricket is my favorite place ever. They have monthly spots and daily sites. It is so beautiful there. The lakes the ducks, the trees everywhere the huge fish shaped pool. This place is like heaven I think. The cricket is clean and the staff is wonderful. The owners are great, they really care about you and making your stay wonderful. The grandkids came to visit and loved playing in the creek and listening to the water run over the rocks is awesome. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. They are a perfect 10 in my book. My dog even loved the creek too. Check out my pictures!
I have been going to the Crosseyed Cricket since I was a kid, and when I had a family of my own, I brought my kids there. It is a peaceful, quiet, serene place off the beaten path. The owners are some of the nicest people I've known, and will go out of their way to accommodate anyone. The sites are spacious, clean and well-kept. I've recommended the campground to many friends over the years, and will continue to do so.
This place was an amazing break from the usual cramped campgrounds. There is plenty of room between you and your neighbors to give you a nice feeling of privacy. They have decks built by a stream on the property where you walk out your front door on to your own deck by a stream. There is a peaceful pond with ducks walking around and an old waterwheel house that's been turned into a restraunt. They were closed for the season last time we were there but we are looking forward to trying it out next time.
We love this campground. It's always kept up and so beautiful. Pond that you can fish, very beautiful picnic areas, the swimming pool is in the shape of a fish.. with the tail for the kiddies. The owners are so nice and the caretakers are the best.. so friendly, everyone....we love going there!!!!
Very inexpensive, owners are nice, love the pool. Campground is older, but we liked it not being crowed. Peaceful setting & spacing is wide, unlike newer parks that pack people into spaces like sardines. Will camp here, again.
Great locally run camp ground with what seems to be some long term camping sites. The owner is super nice and they have Christmas trees with all proceeds going to charity.
I have lived at the cross eyed cricket campground for 7 years. It is one of the most peaceful, safe and beautiful places I have ever lived. Jim and Jean are also very helpful and two of the nicest people I have ever met. It is inexpensive and has all the amenities.
Nice little campground! You register yourself.. It will be easy next time ill know all the ends and outs : Clean bath house, the grounds seem to be kept up! Even though its self check in I talked to what I think was the owner... She was very nice and helpful! I will return here to camp again soon!!
