I contacted the cupcake shoppe to make a birthday cake for my son and cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday. Jennifer did an amazing job!!! I showed her a picture as an example of what I wanted for Frozen themed cupcakes. However the cake, I brought in some toppers and asked her to use whatever creativity she saw fit and was able to do. My son loves dinosaurs and she delivered!! This is by far the cutest cake I have had made yet. Oh and it tastes amazing! I really didn’t have the highest expectations asking for a birthday cake from a cupcake shop, but I’m so grateful! I loved all the details and all our family loved that the rocks on the cake were edible. My son was so excited to see he had a “roar roar” cake. Thank you so much!!!!
Owner was super friendly and helpful, my wife and I had had a wonderful conversation with her. Our daughter has Celiax disease and the owner was well informed and told us the precautions she take for gluten free products. The cupcakes were also very tasty. I would totally recommend and will be back
I live out of state but my brother lives in Ogden. I wanted to send him treats for his birthday but was having a hard time with the popular food delivery service so I called The Cupcake Shoppe directly. The owner was wonderful! She described all the cupcakes hard to choose from and I picked 4 plus the rest of what she had of the coconut macaroons 3 cookies! The above and beyond part, though, was that the owner herself delivered my brother his treats on her way home! He was surprised and I was so grateful! When I talked to him he had just finished one of the cookies and was eating the Better Than Sunshine cupcake which he said were both wonderful! I look forward to stopping by for my own tasty treats the next time I’m in Ogden!
Love, love, LOVE stopping in and smelling what delicious and beautiful treats the ladies have made & ready for the day! I always come for the macaroons but they never make it home where Ican take a pic haha "car casualties" my husband calls them. The cowboy cookie is delicious but this salted caramel cookie is the Heaven my weekend needed!
Great cupcakes and cakes for all occasions. We have had two wedding cakes order and they were beautiful and very tasty. The customer service is fantastic. If you haven't been, this is a must go to.
I was in the area and stopped here to get some cupcakes for my birthday. I went to get some for my whole family, and as I was telling the girl I wanted 4 of a flavor for my 4 kids the owner came out and said, "I'm sorry, no you can only have 2 of them..." awkward silence..."cuz we just don't make that much anymore..." I said "well it's for my 4 kids..." and she started to say, "oh" like realization dawned on her. It was so awkward and I realized SHE THOUGHT I WAS GETTING THEM ALL FOR MYSELF TO EAT!!! It was already causing a scene and it was so awkward and embarrassing that I just got 2 different flavors. Like, is this even real life?!?! I will NEVER go back! Side note, and this is a review that is not based on my feelings on the situation, my husband, and 2 kids didn't even EAT the cupcakes because they were so dry!
I am in absolute heaven. Not only is this shop adorable but they make gluten free options that are every bit as good as any dessert I’ve ever had. The display cases are works of art and there are tables to sit and chat. Please, everyone support this lovely local shop!
I love the cupcakes here. You can get delicious Keto, gluten free or amazing filled regular cupcakes. They are beautiful and always taste delicious! You can't do wrong with any of the filled cakes my favorite so far being the fruit ones...or chocolate! Very rich but super smooth and amazing. For gluten free my teen and I agree the chocolate frosting is great go with it on either the vanilla or chocolate cake! If you are looking for cupcakes or cookies to impress your group this is the place to go.
This is the cutest little cupcake place. We bought 2 cupcakes, a brownie, and 3 cake bites to go. The owner is so sweet too. Our cupcakes were phenomenal. We will definitely be back.
I used The Cupcake Shoppe for my wedding cake and for cupcakes for our guests. The desserts were delicious and we got a lot of complements. I would highly recommend them for anyone planning a wedding. On top of that, they were great to work with and had stellar pricing. We had to reschedule the wedding due to COVID and they by far, were the most understanding. I had a great experience.
