The Curiosity Shoppe opened its doors in Ashtabula Towne Square in November 2013. We buy estate contents and resell them at a discounted prices.

Visit our store and find comics and comic magazines, sports & non-sports cards, magazines, LP records, hardback books, paperback books, extensive original movie posters, costume jewelry, couches, dressers, dining room tables and chairs, bedroom sets and much, much more!



"Although our store opened inside the Ashtabula Towne Square Mall in 2013, we’ve been under new management since August 2021. We have over 10,000 sq.ft. to sell antiques, furniture, sports cards, magazines, records, books, original movie posters, jewelry, gift shop items and more!"

Nice place! It's big and a fun place to find unusual items you won't find elsewhere. Located within the Ashtabula Mall.
A good store for nice used items like tools,tables and chairs,vintage tin signs,China cabinets,etc.

Decent place. Furniture here is overpriced, but they have cool old movie posters.
If you are too bitter to own a store and have good customer service, you probably shouldn't have a store. I had a wad of cash to spend for a project. I stated what I was looking for and the guy behind the counter could not even be bothered to stand up, let alone think about it. The placed also wreaked of cigarettes. If there was $2000 worth of stuff I needed, I would have bought it all. I ended up with one thing after a quick pass through the store. I just wanted to get out of there. Between the attitude and the smell it wasn't worth it. Bad experience.
Great store! The folks that work at this store are very nice and the prices are reasonable as well! Highly recommended. Looking forward to stopping in periodically to checking out new stuff.
Like to see what is new...a lot of antique..
Got a few things for my kids . The man working did not acknowledge the prices written on the items and told me angrily I was wrong about the price he was still very impolite and just told me the sign was wrong when I pointed out. We got the items anyway because I wasn't going to tell my kids they couldn't get the items but there are much better antique shop .
It's possible to find useful and unique old used furniture and knick-knacks here. Just be careful and aware of what you are looking at. The quality and sturdiness are not a given just because they are old.
