The Custard Factory

This is a good location to visit for frozen custard and other frozen treats! In fact, it is very good in the prices are reasonable and so I hope to see that the crowd sizes grow over time. As of right now, it's a little bit of a best kept secret because it's not terribly busy which means you can get in and out. Parking is simple and there are plenty of chairs and picnic tables out front. In my opinion, definitely five stars.

We live in Colorado and every time we come to town we have to stop at St. Louis Custard Factory to sample their newest flavors. Absolutely recommend this place.

Amazing custard! Best in STL, even including Ted Drews! Also, awesome service, which is a big bonus! Highly recommend!

Custard was smooth with no icy chunks. I just had a small sundae with raspberries and they put more than enough on there to have fruit with every bite. And the raspberries seemed fresh, especially in comparison to some other restaurants. Price was low. Overall excellent.

Ordered the pina colada concrete. The taste was amazing. There was crunchy bits of coconut shavings for an occasional crunch. Contrasting pleasantly with the smoothness of the concrete. The pineapple taste was easily identifiable. The concrete was sweet but not overly sweet. The servers were wearing face masks. The concretes are a little pricey.

My friend and I gave this custard place a shot but in all honesty would not recommend in comparison to other vendors in the area. It started with the employees not answering the drive through window, which led us to order at the window. The team of teenagers frantically took our order and made the incorrect order not once but three separate times. Granted the workers were kind about recreating the correct order, however not worth $15 and a 45 minute wait.

Prices are high for a custard place that is mediocre. There are better choices.

Overpriced compared to other custard shops in the area. I asked for extra malt powder in my concrete and it was very poorly mixed and didn't taste nearly as malty as I would have liked. Considering I paid $2 extra for that, it was incredibly disappointing. Also, the staff isn't the most friendly.

My father and I stopped by to get 2 concerts shakes. Both of them were watered-down and tasted like s***. Definitely will not be going there ever again.

Awesome place and wholesome owners. My wife worked here when she was in high school and loved it. They hold many events, my favorite being for dog recuse. And yea, they are pet friendly
