We are so happy we found this gem last minute on our travels to the area. They accommodated us last minute. Very friendly and hospitable. The property is so dreamy and clean. Breakfast was delicious. We will be coming back to stay and recommending.
We will definitely be returning to this B&B on future trips to the area. The rooms have all the right upgrades while still feeling serene and perfectly appointed. Your hosts will be gracious conversationalists; ready to offer a tip about Danville and remembering your once mentioned son’s name while also allowing for a quiet breakfast and many hours lounging amongst the velvet wall papered bedroom enjoying a book. The food is nutritious and served hot with coffee and juice as well as freshly baked goods from the family bakery. The only thing that could have made our trip better is if it were longer.
A step back in time! Staying at The Doctor's Inn transforms a weary traveler's busy journey into an historic experience of the 1880's! Chas and Tina immerse their guests in warm hospitality. Their attention to every detail is obvious in their concern for comfort, good food and wonderful conversation. Five nights were not enough for my husband and I. We will return! Anyone who visits The Doctor's Inn arrives as a guest and leaves as family!
Beautiful place to stay, would highly recommend to any couple. As a great getaway. The pictures online don’t do it’s justice. When you walk into this beautiful Victorian home. You’re presented with a beautiful wooden stair case, astonishing architecture, tall ceilings, it’s just something out of a fairytale. “WiFi, Refreshments,Breakfast”, and they even have jet Operated Tub in the higher up room in the establishment. You will not regret your stay, nothing like a day @ the “Doctor’s Inn.”
Exquisite B&B in a beautiful, historic 1800's home, family-owned and operated. Chas and Tina prepared delightful breakfast meals, answered questions about the area, and made excellent recommendations for us. This lovely home was perfect for our family get-together, as we booked all four rooms, which were spotlessly clean with comfy beds. Danville is a quaint town, with the B&B located within walking distance of downtown establishments. If you're in the area for business or pleasure, you'll feel welcomed and well taken care of at The Doctor's Inn.
Staying here has been a pleasure. The accommodations are beautiful and comfortable; Chas and Tina are kind and helpful, and I look forward to staying here again til I'm in Danville again.
I’ve stayed here multiple times on business and have the highest of praise for the super accommodating and hospitable hosts, Tina and Chas, the delicious breakfasts and the old world charm of this Victorian mansion in the heart of Danville. If you’re looking for a memorable home away from home, don’t look any further than the Doctor’s Inn!
We had a baby shower here and it was absolutely great! We couldn't have asked for a better venue and we strongly reccomend this Bed & Breakfast. It was awesome!
This is by far one of the best bed and breakfast places I have ever stayed will be using again for sure. Run by such a wonderful, nice and beautiful family
