Description

The DoSeum is San Antonio’s museum for kids!

It is comprised of a series of three, two-story exhibit halls totaling 65,000 square feet. Between each exhibit hall, glass facades create daylight-flooded transitional spaces that connect visitors to the additional 39,000 square feet of outdoor exhibit yards.

Envisioned as a museum set in a park, the building is surrounded by meandering pathways that offer a sense of surprise, beautiful gardens that captivate the senses and shady places for families to relax or for school groups to unwind.

Children learn 21st-century problem-solving skills and creativity -two important cultural and educational concepts.

With six major permanent exhibition spaces, a 3,000-square-foot special exhibit gallery, and 39,000 square feet of outdoor exhibit yards, The DoSeum has much to discover and explore, allowing kids to create and learn on a grand scale.

My 6 and 8 year old kids liked the ball room and the outdoor section the best. They were a bit big for the grocery store but still enjoyed it. I thought the spy area was really thoughtfully put together however, might be suited for a bit older kids. The spy stuff was great, its just that it was a lot to figure out and the room was a bit chaotic. I would go again.
Such a cool place! We were visiting San Antonio & decided to stop here to burn off kiddo energy and it delivered big time! Tons of different options for different ages and skill sets. They do have a café to get food, and food was decent. And they have a mothers room! It was so handy being able to nurse my daughter in a cozy environment. My only feedback is it’s not super baby friendly play wise. They do have a soft play area but it is super tiny and there are no toys. My 7 month old was bored after a few minutes. But overall it was a super fun way to spend the afternoon and if we lived near by we would definitely be members and go all the time!
Recommend this place for all kids and adults alike! Each room is filled with educational sets, tactile/sensory play and plenty of sound activity. 2 stories and plenty of outside play from playground to bubble area. I have brought my special needs patients and have also attended multiple adult only events that have allowed us to explore as adults and be kids for a few hours. Now that I have a baby I brought her to play and she had such a blast at only 6 months old! Has a nursing room, cafe and a store. Very modern and adorable all around.
DoSeum was a great museum to play and interact with different kid friendly toys. I thought it was going to be more educational rather than a big playground for children. The scene is eye catching, and the kids seem to love the atmosphere so anything that keeps them entertained for a few hours is cool with me.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
This place was absolutely amazing. The staff was very friendly and talk to the kids with a childlike personality is the best way to describe it. Many different rooms and sponsored markets and such for the kids to play in as well as a real Scion iQ for them to play in. And the ballroom and ball drop kept so many kids entertained for hours. My daughter love this place and we will definitely be back again. If we lived closer we would definitely be buying the memberships
On your first visit it seems kind of overwhelming but it's only because there is so much stuff to do you don't know where to start. I really like it because there are so many activities to choose from there are many age groups that can be included in the activities from crawling babies to tweens and as an adult there are some things that you just want to try yourself to be honest. I have a toddler daughter and a 10-year-old son and they both find things to do there. All the staff are friendly, helpful and pleasant. We received passes as a gift and I can't tell you the number of times we've gone on a day there's nothing else to do and it's a lifesaver. I would highly recommend it totally worth it.
2 adults + 3 kids for 70$ + tickets in total, but I’d say well worth the money. We wandered for 4+ hours. While kids enjoying the indoor activities, I like the outdoor garden parts the most. Very soothing
The DoSeum is one of the best Children's museums I've ever been to. There are so many interactive exhibits we always find something new. They offer a great deal if you purchase the annual membership and you can bring friends and family for a fraction of the price. The staff are always so friendly and everything is clean.
Finally took my son here as it had been on our to do list for a while. Masks are still mandatory . They do offer you complimentary ones at the front desk/ admission area. My son had a blast and had many activities to choose from. Definitely recommended for kiddos. The outdoor slide is super high. It mad me nervous . Apparently I have a little daredevil like the sign on the slide says ‘little daredevils welcomed.’
Such a lovely experience. The museum is spacious and does a great job of self guided tours. It did a wonderful job of combining stem with real life scenarios. It's definitely fun for the kids and entertaining for adults. They have a Cafe so thats a plus since you don't have to leave to eat. I highly recommend The DoSeum for your next weekend plans.
