The Drawing Room Boutique, Cafe & Art Gallery

Have passed here so many times as used to work locally and live in nearby Bromley. Always wanted to check it out. Popped in for lunch with my Mum after a hospital appointment and was very happy with the food, service and the pot of tea! Uniquely British with fine attention to detail and quality. I've seen some reviews here about being overpriced, but I would far rather pay more to eat nice food than go to a greasy spoon. I thought it was reasonably priced given the high standards. It is a very busy cafe but then it is always full of customers... Because it is popular. We chose to sit outside for more space on our visit. I thought it was fabulous!

The Drawing Room was an absolute delight serving by far the freshest pastries and sandwiches I've ever had in an afternoon tea all baked daily on the premises. We booked a table for 2 o'clock in the afternoon which was a busy time and boy was I impressed by how well drilled, motivated and courteous all the staff were. Food of this quality served to this high standard can only be the result of absolute dedication and a true labour of love by the owner of this establisment....hats off and now a firm favourite of ours.

Fabulous tasty food....offering a wide selection of sandwiches and options. Very accommodating friendly staff who do all they can to find seats for customers. An excellent little tea/coffee shop.

Birthday afternoon tea for my partner. Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. I accidentally dropped some brownie crumps on my white dress and one of the staff I think it's the owner's daughter saw it and immediately brought a clean wet wipe. That's what you call being attentive and kind!

Lovely traditional cafe in Locksbottom. Great decor, friendly staff and nice food. They were very accommodating to a plant based diet. We had a great time.

Coffee and a slice of warm brownie with cream, delicious. Welcomed by Santa having come through the imitation snow, very festive. Staff friendly and smoothest coffee I've had in a while. I'll be back again in the new year. 12 months on, tried to book the Santa breakfast but oversubscribed and unsuccessful, a table of 8 in the drawing room is a big party, however we queued for the end of the session at 10:15 and got in then. Santa was still there and he visited all of the tables and spoke to the children, some were lucky enough to ring his bell. Breakfast was good, full English, and sausages and bacon good quality. Ny people tried to come in but unsuccessful in getting a table as we weren't the only ones who specifically turned up for Santa. A bit chaotic but the kids loved it and that was the important thing. Came to the drawing room for afternoon tea. Very very happy we did. Staff are always so friendly, food is amazing. We left with boxes of sandwiches and cakes that we couldn't finish. The scones were still warm when we got them! Absolutely delicious. This place just has so much charm it's impossible not to love x

An absolute delight! We’re new to the area and this was our first visit to Locksbottom and the Drawing Room and I’m so glad we stopped by. Beautiful set up with lovely staff and tasty, fresh food. Highly recommend the salt beef and the potato salad. Can’t wait to come back for the afternoon tea

I came and had breakfast staff were so nice and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Place was clean. Then I came back for cake and tea was amazing cake great service
