Great gym with awesome classes to take. The trainers there are all very knowledgeable and help you push yourself to your full potential. If you have any problems the management is eager to help it get solved.
From the moment we walked, we were greeted with professionalism and felt very welcomed. Anthony, who did our tour, was great and I never felt pressured. After signing up, Jules and Chuck introduced themselves personably and made sure to let me know if I or my family had any questions to just let them know. Had my assessment with Nick who was awesome and again never felt pressured to sign up. And even though I didn’t sign up for personal training, he still takes his time when he sees me to offer advice and suggest the best exercises for my goals. I could go on, but the bottom line is this is an awesome gym. If you are looking for a gym that cares about their clients, this is it. Found our gym!
I’ve been through more than a few gym memberships in South Jersey and I’m honestly impressed with The Edge. They’re one of the cleanest facilities I’ve ever been to and they have a pretty wide array of equipment. Sure, they get a bit crowded during peak hours but... that’s what happens when you have a good product or service that people want. And let’s be honest- what gym doesn’t have a wait for the squat rack at 5:30pm? Their pricing is incredibly competitive, their kids care staff went out of the way to make my 2 year old son feel welcome, and their customer service is always friendly. Without fail, Jules always smiles and says hello from the front desk and one of their trainers, Todd, says hi and asks about my progress every time I run into him. The ONLY critique I’d give is that the TV in the sauna is always blasting. That’s where I and I’d assume others go to decompress and come down after a workout. I don’t exactly love my headphones being overpowered by tennis announcers. But if that’s the only downside, I’ll consider it a huge net win. You draw people in with facilities and solutions but you keep them with friendly, personable service. Keep it up.
OK, I am a total edge member and been one for over 4 years. Let me say that the gym is amazing, I love the smoothie bar and the space is great. The Staff is pretty good and they greet me by name every time I go there. This is my home gym and it looks like its gonna stay that way. Great place to work out
Love this gym! Joined in February because my husband and I were looking for a gym with childcare. Our fitness consultant Anthony P. explained everything about the gym and answered all our questions. He set us up with the ultimate membership and the childcare membership too. My son is 4 and has a blast every time. Definitely recommend!
Absolutely love this gym! Anthony, who did our tour was amazing and answered all our questions and some. On our first day Jules and Todd welcomed us and went above and beyond to help me understand some of the machines. Shout out to Greg who did my assessment and is now my trainer who pushes me and helps me through me setbacks. And AJ who helped me pick the right training package for me and my goals. I could go on and on but the one thing that definitely sets this place apart is how they actually remember their customers and their names to greet you when you check in. Definitely recommend as you will not be disappointed!
I am not sure why Edge has only 3.8 stars. The gym itself is clean and has all the equipment that you need and then some! All the trainers are great especially Todd, Travelle, Vito and Aine. They make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in and make the classes fun, but challenging. I would definitely recommend the Edge and their personal training program shout out to Todd! to anyone!
I won’t mention the name of the previous gym I belonged to for years… but Edge finally feels like home to me! AJ at the front has the best smile so wholesome and welcoming. Manager Anthony was so patient with my questions, extremely professional, while making you feel a part of the gym family. I’m so grateful to be a member at Edge :
I go the the gym everyday and i have been to many different gyms... Edge Fitness in Deptford is by far the best Edge Fitness in NJ! I feel like family as soon as I walk in. The entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful! I've made real friends here!
Been a member at Edge Fitness Club, Deptford, NJ for 4 years. Best fitness club I've ever been a member of and I've been a member in quite a few. The staff in Deptford is outstanding, helpful, friendly, professional and personable. Doug and Charles are very good managers. The sales team is excellent, as are every one of the folks behind the desk who greet everyone with a smile, make shakes, sell merchandise, help with questions, etc. The personal trainers and group class instructors are amazingly supportive and knowledgeable. I could not be happier. The gym is clean, welcoming and fun. Massage chairs, tanning room, a beautiful cinema, sauna - all of it absolutely fantastic. Kids room and so much more. Love Deptford Edge and I congratulate everyone who works there. Kudos and thank you all!
