This hotel was really nice and the hotel staff were great! The location was probably the best part about this hotel. There's a pond which provides an incredible view. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to walk to surrounding the hotel which looks like a small village. The hotel has both an indoor and outdoor pool which are connected for easy access to either one. There's a nice fitness center and the rooms are nice! I recommend staying on the 10th floor with a pond view!
There is nothing wrong with the service, There just is not much interaction with staff. Housekeeping is every other day. My room had awesome windows, plenty of power plugs, and the blackout curtains worked.Rooms: 5/5
Booked in March for a July 29th concert at Orion. Arrived at 5:00PM. Clerk advised they found my reservation but over booked and we did not have a room. They transferred us to the Westin next door, but the room was nothing like what we booked. It also smelled like a smoking room and was not very clean. Management refused even a partial refund. When I booked I had a choice between Westin and Element. Paid extra for Element, the rooms are nicer. Would not have stayed there period, Drury and Hyatt Place were about the same distance to my event, almost as nice as Element and cheaper. Was late for a 7:30 show time because of the 2 1/2 hours waiting for sub par accommodations. Last time I will be staying at this property. WARNING, if you are traveling for a popular event, I was informed by a former sales manager from Element Huntsville, this is a common occurrence. Is why she left the job. It could have worked out that we did not have a room at all even though I booked and paid 5 months in advance. The dingy brown photo is the room we were given, the bright clean turquoise photo is what I booked. The total charge I had was 326.00 with tax for the night. I have stayed at both Element and Westin here at Bridge Street, so I am fully aware of the difference in quality at this property. I am revising my review after talking to the Hotel Manager. They gave me a 30% refund, which is fair for the accommodations we received. Noteworthy details: Nothing to see. They sold my room out from under me.
Booked a room at the Element in Huntsville Al. Located in the Bridge Street Town Center. I am a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite member. I specifically booked a certain type of room over the phone, needed a kitchen and a view of Bridge Street. When I checked in my room had the kitchen but a view of the parking lot. When I asked the front desk about she said there wasn’t any rooms like that available. My family and I will not be staying at the Element again. We usually stay at the Westin with no problem. Was gonna give the Element a shot but not again.
After taking a trip to on Buc ee's on 8/18/2023 my boyfriend and I decided to stay in the night in Huntsville. We decided to book with Element Huntsville based on the location and fantastic view. We stayed in room 1108 and everything was fine As we thought. When we woke up the next morning I noticed that ants were on my boyfriend and I and also I noticed that ants were on the side table. I was confused as to where they were coming from as the room was presented to be clean when we checked in. Upon additional searching throughout the room I noticed that candy was behind the bed. At that moment I knew that the room was not properly cleaned. I immediately started to take pictures and I presented the pictures to the front desk. This is unacceptable and unsanitary!
I read all current rivew.. so I look around other hotels.. I wondered.. this hotel looks nice. So my family stay here. I am enjoying. Better than reviewed. And indoor pool is renovation now
Protip-this is element hotel inside of the existing Westin, and it feels a bit like an after thought. The entrance is separate and the staff…is kind of hit or miss. Had a poor experience with a front desk staff member telling me to wait as I walked in to the front desk, she pulled two folks off the couch and got them checked in. I get it, there before me and waiting but the whole interaction was…poor I waited and was told my room wasn’t ready, I asked for a general time it might be and she advised she was heading off shift and the next person would help me and find that out. We left and came back about 30 mins later after trying to ask about the room via the app remotely no reply after 10 mins so gave up on that and was advised it was still not ready. I conveyed the poor previous interaction and they provided an upgraded room that was available immediately. I appreciated that and thanked them The upgraded room was NICE but also had some obvious issues like toilet constantly leaking/noisy, door wouldn’t close properly and requires additional attention/force, damaged flooring, crumbs on table, etc. Overall, it was a odd visit, I wouldn’t really recommend based on my own experience but I understand everyone’s visit differs. To me this particular hotel just feels like a downgraded experience of the nearby Westin. Maybe the $ is the key factor for anyone looking at this one.
