Fundamentals of Fabrication | 6 months
Areas of instruction include: safety, tape measure reading and calculations, industry math practices, MIG welding on flat and round materials, TIG welding on flat and round materials, rosette splice, fluff and buff, sheet metal, notching and bending, part construction, forming, pattern layout drilling, shocks, suspension basics, aluminum shaping and forming, mill and lathe operations, blocking and smoothing, chassis engineering, advanced project front suspension, rear suspension, static, and project build.
Digital Design & Manufacturing | 6 months
Areas of instruction include: digital part design, assembly modeling, CAD, CAM, Solid Works, CNC machining, and laser cutting & forming.
Advanced Composites & Technologies | 6 weeks
Areas of instruction include: types of composites, weave patterns, warp/weft, salvage, consumables, adhesives, cores and ribbon direction, ply splicing, overlaps, vacuum bagging, mix ratios, cure schedule, TC placement, and repairs.
