Bought my Babylock Jazz 2 about 4 years ago. Unfortunately, we did not purchase it locally. We was in South Carolina at the time, so we purchased it there. From the beginning I had issues with it. The best thing about having these problems was the amount of research I did, which, in turn, taught me a lot about this machine and some general sewing I wasn’t aware of. After much frustration, my husband told me we needed a professional to fix the problem. We took my machine to the Fabric Shop in Ruston, La. I believe his name is Mr. Adams please forgive me if this is not right. As soon as we walked into the Fabric Shop, he immediately came to us and got the sewing machine, ask some questions and carried it to his work area. Mrs. Adams took my other information. They were both very attentive and professional. A few days later my sewing machine was repaired. My husband picked it up for me. Mr. Adams told him this machine came from the factory with an existing problem or issue. In either case, he had fixed it and it was ready to use. I couldn’t wait to try it. I was expecting to hear that same loud sound it usually made I had thought it was suppose to sound like that but what I got was a quiet, smooth sound and sewing, the way it was meant to be. It was finally running just like a, well, sewing machine. Made my day. Thank God for professionals who know how to fix sewing machines. Thank you Mr. Adams.
Louise and Ron are wonderful people to deal with. Knowledgeable and likable are two of their best traits, although they have many other positive traits also. It is a beautiful shop with a well-rounded selection of fabrics and notions. They also carry PFAFF and Babylock sewing machines and servers. Ron is the Service Technician with beaucoup lots and lots years experience. Both are Veterans and are quite supportive of Quilts of Valor Service and Dogs for Veterans.
Staff helpful and took time to demonstrate a project that they offer. Welcoming atmosphere. Will continue to visit often.
This is the first time I have ordered anything from here. I had to find some fabric that in Missouri is not available. I placed my special order early this week. Literally within a couple of hours of having placed my order I received an email saying my order had shipped. I received it today. Exceptional service!
The Fabric Shop is the best fabric store that I've been to. I've been taking sewing classes in Ohio, Texas and Louisiana for 40 years. The owners Ron and Louise Adams provide classes with industry leading educators. The classes at The Fabric Shop are some of the best I've attended. The Adams also are very knowledgeable about the sewing industry and the sewing machines sold at their shop. The service is outstanding and the customer service is exceptional. Enjoy a visit to Ruston and The Fabric Shop. Faye R.

Living in Michigan we have wonderful quilt shops. It is a pleasure to travel and see many other shops around the US. I always get excited when visiting Ruston, Louisiana because my shopping experience is amazing at The Fabric Shop. Warm wonderful staff and awesome fabrics too!
Went today and love it. Small fabric shop but tons of very nice fabric. Definitely will go again.
We frequently visit The Fabric Shop when we are in the Ruston area. I have been thoroughly impressed with the selection of sewing machines and accessories, notions, quilting fabrics and fashion fabrics. The variety of fabrics and sewing accessories available for any type of seamstress is excellent! The staff at The Fabric Shop is always helpful and extremely courteous. They have made me feel very welcome anytime we are there and are always knowledgeable regarding any questions I have. If you are in the Ruston area, a stop by The Fabric Shop is a must!
