We dined here! The food was mouthwatering. I got the NY sirloin, Manny got the salmon. Both were so very good. The staff was so very nice!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: No
Baked Chicken Florentine Style was absolutely delicious! And the Limoncello, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Every thing is local sourced, great service!
This is a hidden gem... And authentic Greek Chef Who prepared lamb as good as any in New York or Greece... Good enough to dine in 2 out of 3 nights! And a very cafe atmosphere That made the evening an adventure Parking: Plenty of free parking Wheelchair accessibility: Not a step in sight
We just hosted a rehearsal dinner there and they couldn't have made any less stressful. Food was very good and the staff was great. Thanks again guys! Vegetarian options: The ratatouille was really good, lots of people going back for seconds. Parking: Plenty of close parking spaces for the old folks.
Dishes are inspired by greek cuisine but well adapted to Vermont tastes. Good selection, affordable prices. The wine list hasmany unknown and reasonably priced south European winesFood: 5/5
Fair Haven Inn is a wonderful Family owned Greek Restaurant focusing on excellent presentation of seafood along with some Greek specialties. The owners are Chef and Hostess and wonderful and fully engaged in the business.Food: 4/5
A classier place to eat in Fair Haven. Food is dependable, atmospher is above par, service professional. I had the steak, excellent!
The price was way too high for the quality of the food that came out of the kitchen. My mussels were full of sand and my calamari was boiled to become rubbery- it was reminiscent of a squid I dissected in science class that was preserved in formaldehyde. Naturally I couldn’t finish it and it’s the first time in 36 years that I didn’t want to take a “doggy bag” home after a night out to eat. Service was also extremely slow the restaurant was practically empty on a Saturday evening with awkward interactions with the hostess and waitresses.
Waitstaff = rude. Fare is mediocre at best. Menu prices reflect a much more expected fine dining experience, however, in reality, menu is utterly over-priced for the quality of what comes out of the kitchen. $40 prime rib should be some of the best. Their prime rib should be at $12 price point. Further, the ambiance could be accomplished by a third grader with greater success than what they have done. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.
We all had a wonderful night and the food was delicious.
