A unique opportunity for Jewish and Catholic intercultural families to directly participate and share in their children’s religious education.
The Family School is a Sunday school program for children and parents of Catholic and Jewish interfaith families. Classes meet on Sunday mornings twice a month in downtown Chicago on the campus of Old St. Patrick’s Church.
Since 1993 the Chicago Interfaith Family School has provided both Jewish and Catholic education to more than 120 interfaith families and 300 interfaith children. Families from Chicago and the Chicago suburbs join in the interfaith education of their children, by teaching Catholic and Jewish traditions, history and beliefs.
