What a hidden gem. Great home-cooked meals...large portions. Service was great. Very clean. I couldn't decide but chose turkey dinner. We also purchased beef dinner and haddock dinner. Cannot wait to try more.Food: 5/5

The Family Table catered my wedding and they outdid themselves! From the moment we got in contact with them, they have been very communicative and kind. Our tasting at the restaurant ensured our desire to have them cater. At the wedding, I think the favorite overall was the brisket but the guests enjoyed all the food. They were great to work with and I would highly recommend their catering, and I can't wait to go back to their restaurant.

I would give them 4.5 if I could . what stopped me from a 5 was the length of time it took for our meal to come to the table . We started off with the Crab dip , and it was pretty good . I got the RIBS and my wife got the Chicken Chesapeake. I have to say they were good . The ribs were fall off the bone and for me there not done if they don't fall off the bone . My wife said the Chicken was pretty good . What I was impressed with was the serving size , it was very very generous for sure . We both brought some home for a second meal. They were busy for sure so the length of time for our food to arrive doesn't bother me a whole lot for our first time here . I do very much appreciate the fact that they do a Military discount . Thank you for a nice dinner ! We will be back again soon!

Chicken sandwich I ordered was full of gristle. French fries were half done. Waitress was nice. Bathroom had papertowels all over the floor. Wastebasket was full. Was there before noon. apparently had never been emptied from the day before.Food: 2/5

3 times we've gone there because we truly wanted to support local businesses. All 3 times there were issues which the first 2 times I messaged management about it instead of going to social media. 1st time the waitress brought our coffee out carrying it with hands around the rim of the cup instead of the handle, after she handled menus and money, second time we ordered and there was only 2 other customers who came in after us who got their food but we never got ours, waitress forget to put our order in, Sunday we stopped for breakfast, again carrying the coffee cups by the rim where the customer drinks from , and not the handle plus everything was cold and I ordered eggs over medium and they were like hard boiled. Never again, 3 strikes you're out.

Food was not good, I had the fish and chips and the fish was gummy and tasteless. My fries among others in our party were cold. Another never got part of her order despite telling the waitress about it. Crab was almost nonexistent on the chicken Chesapeake. The waitress did well despite our party over 20 people but the food was lacking.
