We arrived for our reservation and were seated promptly. Our table was ready, including two menus, two appetizer plates, and our silverware all ready at the table for us. To start, we ordered the Spanakopita Bites: Flakey Phyllo Dough stuffed with Spinach, Greens, Leeks, Scallions, Romano, and Feta. The phyllo was flaky and tender and the layers of filling were savory and delicious. A glass of Chimay accompanied this for me, making it a very nice appetizer. The fresh bread was soft and hot as well. For my main course, I selected the Filet Mignon and opted for the Au Poivre. The salt and pepper crust was among the best I've had and was a perfect contrast to the buttery tender filet underneath. Accompanying the filet were roasted potatoes, crispy and delicious, as well as the sautéed Brussels sprouts I substituted in place of the asparagus. While the sprouts were perfectly cooked, the accompanying cooking liquid in the bowl was slightly too salty for my taste. My wife chose the Slow Braised Pork Chop with a Rosemary-Peppercorn Gravy. The chop was thick cut. Abiut two inches to my estimation. Perfrctly cooked and fork tender. The silky gravy was a perfect complement. The Garlic Mashed Potatoes were heavy on the garlic, which was appreciated. She substituted haricot verts in place of the brocollini and was very satisfied. For the dessert, we took a slice of the caramel chocolate brownie a la mode with us to go, as the dinner was too filling to be able to enjoy it before we left. Atmosphere at the restaurant is cozy, the tables are close together, but they do offer an outside dining experience. The quality and presentation of the food lends itself to their "fine dining casual" theme, however the music was just loud enough to be a distraction and was the only complaint we had about our evening. Overall, I'm very happy with our experience and we will return for sure.
We ordered take out. It was ready on time and hot b The pork chop was so tender and one of the best I ever had! The moussaka was out of this world. We also ordered the 3 person cheese tray , wonderfully delicious! Slighty more expensive than most, but the quality of the food shows itFood: 5/5
The bistro has a relaxing environment that’s classy. I really enjoy all the people there. If you haven’t ever been I highly recommend
This is a wonderful "double restaurant" in town. Lunch is reasonable and very tasty, but at night I'd consider it more fine dining. Reservations are recommended for evening meals. They have one of the best chefs and crew in the back of the house, and their specials will always pique your interests. I've never walked away thinking i wasted my money. One of my favorites in town!
Everything was cooked to perfection. Today's special was a smoked brisket. It was excellent! Reservations are not required but highly recommended.Food: 5/5

Great place in downtown Owensboro. Awesome service and delicious food. Nice outdoor patioFood: 5/5
I don't know if this is common or just a bad day but, the food was so salty, we couldn't finish it. It wasn't just one thing. Even the plain biscuit tasted like salt. We were from out of town so I don't know if we will get an opportunity to return. It was a nice, quaint place. And the service was decent.
No frills, small, intimate dining area with OUT OF THIS WORLD entrees! Every visit I try something new, and they always knock me silly! Delicious fare from a great staff. Try anything, you'll be happy... but make reservations for dinner and go soon! Parking: If you don't mind walking downtown, this place works. We parked 3 blocks away, on street, for free.
