vintage boutique est. 2011 by Nicolas Delgado. Featuring a curated selection of vintage and designer clothing and accessories.
Started as a backyard flea market with friends, music and mimosas. Since then, the business has grown into a bricks and mortar establishment inspired by London's early boutiques and vintage clothing shops around the world. Situated in the heart of Palm Desert, the shop receives about 75% of the inventory from local women who sell, trade or consign their precious fashions.Opening for business in early 2011, The Fine Art of Design has grown a loyal clientele, spanning the gap from shoppers new to the concept of vintage to seasoned fashion veterans. It has garnished recognition from top fashion magazine Elle, and is a well known staple to fashion insiders worldwide.
"The Fine Art of Design is a vintage clothing boutique specializing in garments and accessories from the Edwardian Era to the 1990s. The collection is consigned or purchased entirely from local women in the desert. The shop seeks to emphasize the historical relevance of its inventory by providing researched insight into each garment's past. Since opening in 2011, the shop has garnered recognition from local and national press including the Los Angeles Times, Vogue, Elle, InStyle, and W Magazine. Hours are seasonal and appointments are available by request."
