The Food Liaison

Very pleasant, casual/relaxing indoor & outdoor setting with friendly service. Slightly unique selections of food and drink, deliciously served. We had the Chicken Crack Burrito and Avocado Meets toast Tartine with Aqua Bonita Mango/Habanero drink. The burrito was saucy but not too wet, wrapped with lots of healthy and delicious vegetables and beans. The tartine toast was piled high with avocado, nuts, and yummy pickled red onions. The mango drink had a hint of habanero which gives some kick without being too spicy.

A City employee recommended this spot for lunch. The menu items sounded too "healthy," but I went for it--best choice ever. Service: 11/5 Roseanne is super nice. Hooked me up with a cookie as a newbie. She assured me it did not taste gluten free. I wish I had bought a dozen! Food: 11/5 take Jack's bagels and wrap it around the best burrito you've had in a long time. I also don't generally like chicken, but this stuff was cooked and seasoned just right. This place earns the food liaison title with its ability to food whisper. Location: 1/5 It needs to be where I live. I'm a crack burrito addict. I need more excuses to work in Carpinteria.

Love everything about this place…the food is amazing, fresh and healthy! Service is quick and super friendly! And the vibe is relaxed…you feel as though you’re sitting in your favorite coffeehouse as you take in the books and listen to great music. Local Carpinteria gem for sure!

The crack bowl and prosciutto open faced sandwich were so so good. Very clean and pleasant inside. Very enjoyable experience. Will be back! Very reasonably priced.Food: 5/5

They're open on weekdays 11a-3p. Wish it were more often. Also, call in your order. I still cannot figure out their new online ordering system.

I've had the chance of eating there several times and I'm glad to be a returning patron. They consistently have high-quality items that are flavorful and healthy. I look forward to having the time to up my completely absent culinary skills with the classes they also offer. 5/5 would recommend

First time in!!!! Got the Crack Bowl!!!!!! There is so much flavor in this dish. A must! Can’t wait to try more!!!!
