Always clean and well stocked. They have fresh lobster. I go there for their fresh seafood. They also have a salad works and a good selection of alcoholic beverages.
This location is very negligent. I ended up getting food poisoning from the bakery brownies. When I ate one it tasted funny but I thought it was because it was defrostingthe guy gave me brownies from the back. I started feeling sick moments later. Smelled the brownie and it smelled like mildew. I say they’re negligent bcz prior to grabbing the brownies I was getting produce and noticed the ginger, garlic and other items were rotted or growing mold. I definitely wouldn’t trust this location. Stop recycling old product and throw it out before you guys seriously send someone to the hospital. I shop here because I expect better. Do better Fresh Grocer!
The store is always clean and they always have terrific sales. Why pay $11.00 for a pound of American Cheese at Acme or Giant when you can get it here fresh sliced for only $4.99? The same goes for ham. Sometimes they run out of items such as chicken or ground beef. That tells me that their inventory doesn't sit around, so get there earlier. They used to make the absolute best sweet potato pie sold in a tin but they discontinued it. One of my favorite places to grocery shop.
I would like to commend Stacey of the Meat Department for his excellent customer service advice and help on Saturday, April 22, 2023. The store was very empty as it was early in the morning. It turned out that I needed help three different times while shopping. As I searched for an employee I wound up each time asking Stacey for help. He aided me right away and by the third time he was all smiles and solved my problem. I am so happy that Stacey in the Meat Department was on duty. Fresh Grocer is lucky to have him as an employee.
Shop at home can be HORRIBLE at times! Schedule a time for pick up and either it’s late late or not ready when you get there which defeats the purpose. Otherwise this store is great and always clean, rarely long lines.
I like that the store is in this area because it’s much needed. This isn’t my regular grocery store and the couple of times I’ve been there, I’ve been disappointed. I bought some cookies in the bakery and they were so tough, when I bit into it, my teeth almost cracked. Also, I’ve bought a half of Bundt cake here before and when I came home, I realized it was expiring the next day. I have picked up some things from the beer garden and it tasted “funny,” the beer bottle had a raw aftertaste. So sad to say, the quality of their stuff is not the best.
Service, cleanest not to mention fresh food at a reasonable price at this local grocery. You know I love to browse the aisles, read, find those little gems. Never seen in other stores. Like this sweeten condense coconut milk, must try the sweet coconut, lol, in my coffee. Or the Italian own #1 bakery "Amoroso's rolls" soft and fresh, love it. Found in all the deli that make your delicious "Philly Cheesesteaks" more enjoyable...And fresh prepared meal that is cooked on premise. like tasty good season jerk chicken. You have to try it when in the area. Oh, if you have to follow a low sodium diet, lots of choices here. [Unsalted chips, pretzels, and many more]
Super annoyed that it took 40mins to get a hoagie made with only 2 people n front of me. They definitely move slow so move accordingly
My day at the fresh grocer they had what ia was looking for . The store was very clean service was very fast and friendly.
The produce here is horrible ! The strawberries are always brown, especially the ones that are on the bottom . At the seafood counter the crabs are always broken up and battered and the staff is always walking to get cigarettes and Lolly gagging when it's time to order something .
