I recently had an issue with a purchase at Furniture House and thanks to the sales lady and the owner it has now been resolved. My thanks to him for taking care if this and doing the right thing although I think he should have talked to me directly and not through someone else since he is the owner. A big shout out and thank you to Hannah, the sales lady, for her help. She was very kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional is every way. All you could ask for in an employee. Just hope the owner realizes what an asset she is to his business.
Everyone at The Furniture House is wonderful! They are very helpful and friendly. There delivery team is phenomenal! Not only did they deliver our furniture 2 hours away in a timely manner but they set it up and took away our old. Also, Jessica has gone above and beyond to make sure we are happy with our furniture and experience.
Dropped in yesterday to check out their “sale”. Was followed around by Lynda. She wasn’t pushy, more like an unwanted shadow that constantly commented on everything. We found a couch/loveseat we liked but weren’t exactly sold on the prices. As we continued to look around, Lynda continued to get more and more annoying. Me and my girlfriend finally got to the point where we were irritated and just decided to leave. As we were walking out, Lynda approached us one more time asking us which set we were ready to take home today. We politely stated that we weren’t ready to purchase anything yet and her response was, and I mean word for word was, “Ah, no money honey.” At this point I am furious, to the point of embarrassing her, myself, and my girlfriend in that store by making an old woman wish she hadn’t come to work that day. Lynda is by far the most hateful, spiteful, self righteous person I have ever been in the presence of. I work in sales and understand that time is money. But so is personality, service, and attitude. To The Furniture House and Lynda, I plan to never spend a dime with either one of you. Maybe going out of business is a great business model for you, especially if you’re going to hire people like her.
Don’t waste your time shopping here. They claim to have sales on everything but it is the exact same prices as couple months ago. The only thing different is the tags. They mark it way up to make it look like a sale. When I asked the young girl about it she lied straight to my face twice and got smart with me but I have a picture on my phone of a sofa my husband and I were looking at for the same price! I don’t trust these people as far as I could throw them. It’s sad. My in laws always bought from here when Scotty owned the business but never again. And I plan on telling everybody I know. I wish I could give zero stars.
The Furniture House is fantastic! Quality furniture, great selection and great customer service. Jessica was very helpful and knowledgeable about the furniture construction and color options. She even rearranged a sectional and brought in other cushions to show me what I would be ordering. I will definitely be back to buy more.
The service of this place called the Furniture House... is great. We got my son some bedroom furniture. Bought it on a Tuesday and it was delivered the following Saturday. They moved the older furniture out and set up the new. They even loaded the old into my truck!! Thank you to both Amber and Jessica.
The Southern Motion couch & love seat I ordered stinks of chemicals, It's so bad I had to remove it from my living room. I called twice & the only option I was given was they could come get it & let it sit in their warehouse for a while to air out. They didn't offer a refund of any kind, So I'm stuck with a pricey couch & love seat I cant enjoy
Endless waiting When I originally bought my table from this store I was infomed that the table would not arrive for 2 weeks. I called back a week and a half later to check on the status of my order and to arrange delivery as I needed to take day off work. At that time, they again repeated tht it tkes a couple of weeks for the table to come in. I then waited another 1.5 weeks and called back, since it was now 3 weeks since I ordered the table. The sales clerk told me they had put the table together nd it ws missing piece and the piece was on backorder and she would call me later that day with an update. When I didnt hear from her I called again the next day and that was whewhen i was imformed that they were talking bout the wrong order and that my order takes 4-6 weeks to come in, so you can imagine how confused I was. The beginning of the 7th week I called and was told that they had confirmed that it was on the truck to be delivered this week. I waited the week and heard nothing. I called that following Monday to ask for a refund as we were now a month past expevted delivery and they said the table would be delivered that week. It was finally delivered that Friday. Upon delivery, 2 chairs were missing from the order and they had to go back and get them. It appears they gave me the floor model chairs as they were not bubble wrapped or tagged like the other chairs that had come in the order. In conclusion, if you want a table before you die or you dont want used furniture this is not the store for you because it is not for me anymore. I gave 2 stars because I do like the table. I do understand the table was handmade and that takes time but if I was told from the beginning it could take up to 8 weeks to get it, I wouldnt have had an issue.
Purchased living room sofa, den sofa, and master bedroom set. All is well with the product. The delivery guys not only delivered the new furniture, but also assembled the new bed as well! Used this company twice, once when I moved to Birmingham AL and once when I moved to Griffin, GA.
I was greeted by Shayla and she spent time with me on the floor. She gave me upholstery options and price quotes as I asked. I needed time to think it over and I have decided to purchase very soon. I will be coming back tomorrow to make my purchase. Thanks Julie treadwell
