The Future Lab, Anti Gallery is a place for all who have something to present ! As the founder of The Lab and also a working artist I would like to think of it as a place different than anything pro-establishment! A space for all genre of arts, a woven society of artists and art lovers. We are offering an intimate space, an undeniably large room with great lighting and high ceilings.
We are not about demographic, not about numbers or statistics.
My story :
I have been running Boston Photo Center AKA BPC! BPC has served over 1000 photographers for nearly 9 years with many activities.I started meeting with Photographers and photo-lovers in 2004 .
I began it in a small room in a coffeeshop and over the years with the help of many, we became a strong force for photographers with promoting The Art of Photography and helping amateurs and pros to learn more!
I would like to believe we are exclusive! Why , because I ran it with little budget and help from volunteers and dedicated members, a true teamwork ! For the last 5 years, I have been able to run the only successful Coop lab in its genre in Boston, a full-blown studio facility. We provided true credible professionals in the field of photography as our guest teachers !
Why I opened the doors of BPC!
The love of Photography and that simple excitement of seeing the image were the main reasons why I started BPC !
So after many years of living around all corners of this beautiful country, but mainly in Boston, I realized how little we have in this town for photographers.
Boston Photo Center is a place that challenges the brain and promotes creative ways for each individual, a place for people to share their knowledge of photography.
Through this journey , I decided to spread Photography to a younger audience as a Leadership Program for inner city kids !
I believe Arts can guide us ! Arts in our lives are necessary ! We certainly get a better understanding of ourselves and also the world around us !
And forward I began The Future Lab , Anti Mall. The idea came to me two years ago. Fascinated with idea of The Lab, Anti Mall in Costa Mesa, Ca I partnered with a promoter but we wanted different things from my idea and went separate ways! I wanted a woven society of all genre of arts and art lovers. Well it was my idea and I wanted my way ! A place without restrictions to Artists.
You have something to present then we will support you however we can!
In Nov. of 2014 a super spot became available and I took the risk and took over to launch my idea! And therefore this journey began..It will shape itself as I go...
