On a remarkable day in August of 2004, Flyer Enterprises, the University of Dayton’s student-run business, opened a new division with sights set on bringing joy to the community each and every day. Since the very beginning, The Galley has been a staple of authenticity. As the only place on campus that serves ice cream and custom milkshakes, The Galley has fostered a loyal following. Enthusiasm exhibited by customers and employees alike sparked the creation of the phrase "Galley Love", which has grown to embody the spirit of the division. Run by 25 employees and 3 managers, The Galley has remained a genuinely unique and fun atmosphere for customers and employees. Over the years, The Galley has also expanded their menu, offering a wide range of ice cream flavors, specialty sundaes, and city shakes. Our wonderful customer service, dedication to quality and efficiency, and delicious ice cream and shake selections truly make The Galley a 'sweet spot’!
