I always enjoy my time at this restaurant. The atmosphere is so bright and airy, with beautiful views. The tables are trendy and look very clean. Our most recent visit my husband and I got the spinach artichoke dip, the pork dish as well as the pasta dish, along with some specialty lemonades. So delicious! Our server Jason was so helpful with the menu and gave great details about each dish we had questions about. When our dishes came, they were beautifully presented, and tasted wonderful! We are excited to plan another trip to The Garden soon!
I would not suggest anyone coming here for quality food. Outback, Red Lobster, and similar establishments are better than this place. The only good thing about this place is the atmosphere, the view, live music and reasonably good prices they have. If you’re looking for those things then this is it for you, but if you’re looking for good flavorful food that seemed like the chef cares about his work and does over power it with one seasoning then go somewhere else. Overall I rank this 2/5 1. Poor quality of food 2. Poor customer services
This restaurant is on the 10th floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in Salt Lake. The views are beautiful. The restaurant is light, airy and open / the rooftop opens up. The bread is to die for - it comes piping hot - and they are fluffy goodness. I had the salmon and fresh veggies with rice. It was cooked well and it was tasty. It was a little too sweet though. It tasted like it was candy crusted. I can appreciate sweets very much - but this was a little overkill. The staff is very pleasant and attentive in every way. The ambiance very nice.
Fantastic restaurant, amazing food, great views! I would highly recommend The Garden. We had the parts and the salmon with a side of fried pickles and it was delicious. I felt the price was right for the quality of the food and the service we received. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who is looking for an upscale meal at a good price.
OVERVIEW - 5.0 Came here after visiting the Salt Lake Temple, on the day that my wife's grandmother died. LOCATION - 5 The restaurant is located on the top floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial building. PRICE - 5 The price is actually slightly steep to my liking, but it is bearable, if you are willing to find what's in your price range. PRODUCT/SERVICE - 5 I had the meatloaf, and it was probably one of the best meatloaves I've ever had. POINTERS/PERKS - 5 Ask to sit near the window for an amazing view of the Salt Lake Temple. EMPLOYEES - 5 We were served by an amazing waiter, I think his name was David. After finding out the meatloaf was out for the evening, he went as far as to double-check for me and hooked me up with some meatloaf that was previously sold out.
Nostalgic restaurant on Temple Square with stunning views. A fun, relaxing place to eat especially if you're looking at not leaving the downtown area. I'd rate the food and menu selection at three stars but the view is five, which is really why you would eat here. Staff seemed friendly. Reservations are helpful during peak times. Suitable for families.
This is a really great place to eat. If you can get a window seat, all the better for the view. Even without the view, the food is excellent. I had the fried tomato BLT and my daughter had the chicken. Both were equally delicious. The pina colada lemonade was unique and very tasty. And you get warm rolls for the table - never a bad thing.
So the view is enchanting, but that's it. The food was ok, and honestly the price was not worth it for what I got. The "artisan" burger wasn't impressive and it lacked juiciness in the burger. The fries were good and the portion was great. The staff was friendly but overall not impressive. I will still recommend this place since it's a must go place in salt lake but going once will be more than enough for me
We had a fantastic experience dining at The Garden Restaurant! They made us feel like kings! The food was fantastic, truly a fine dining experience. The views were wonderful! They even opened the roof which made the experience beautiful. The service was wonderful, I only have good things to say. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great fine dining experience. I’ve had much more expensive meals that weren’t nearly as good. 5 stars!
Salmon was amazing but the service blew... 4 stars for the food 2 or 3 for the service/experience... Great views tho... As you can see in these pics..
