The Garment Shop is a unique specialty shop for women, offering quality clothing at a reasonable price for sizes including missy, petites, plus sizes, and some menswear from ages 18 – 99. The fashion lines Jan carries are very unique featuring Tribal, Woolrich, Pic-a-Dilly and Lana Lee. You will find a variety of clothing items from professional clothing, dresses, sweaters, coats, skirts, slacks plus a myriad of accessories (jewelry, hats, handbags, scarves, and much, much, more!).
Jan Carpenter’s, owner of The Garment Shop, primary focus is to provide a level of customer service that has become rare; she takes the time to know each customer and learn how to best meet their needs. She believes that personal service is something people are looking for and can’t find in the “big” stores. “They know we will help them to find something and they won’t leave the store empty-handed.” Jan has been offering personal service with friendliness and expertise since 1978 ( and founded The Garment Shop in 1994).
