The Gift of Life, Inc., is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the lives of children suffering from congenital heart defects.
The Gift of Life, Inc. is a children's charity officially founded by Rotary District 7250 in 1975. The Gift of Life, Inc. is a dynamic international service program. Its purpose is to further the cause of world peace and understanding by facilitating free medical services, including life saving surgery to children up to the age of 18 suffering from congenital heart defects, and other similar or allied illnesses, regardless of race, creed, gender, religion, or national origin, and who would otherwise lack access to such medical care.
The Gift of Life, Inc. is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt corporation whose Board of Directors and members are comprised of Rotarians of District 7255 (Brooklyn, Queens, and Nassau Counties in New York) and members of local ethnic organizations.
To further the cause of world peace and understanding by facilitating free medical services to children suffering from heart disease regardless of race, creed, sex or national origin and who otherwise lack access to such services.
