What can I say about the ladies at Amara Boutique and Glass Slipper. I can start of by saying thank you for all you do. Since I started shopping there my confidence in myself and body came back. Thanks to Angie and her eye for style she has made me feel comfortable in clothes I would never imagine myself wearing. She’s always up in style with what’s in, I always leave the store satisfied and truly couldn’t ask for better service and my Guiomar who’s always got the latest and greatest shoes and accessories that add the final touch to any great outfit. Cannot speak anymore highly about this store.. Amara Boutique and Glass slipper combination is perfect! You basically have a personal stylist with Angie. You tell her where u have to go and she will help you chose outfits to make you feel extra beautiful for the night! You won’t be disappointed!
I’ve been shopping at Amara Boutique and Glass Slipper for about 9 years now. Since then I have not been to another store for any of my clothing or shoe needs. The customer service Angie and her mom Guimar give you is exceptional. They really do make you feel and look like a queen. They go above and beyond to make sure you are completely satisfied and have what you need. When you need it! My girl Angie always comes through. Big shout out to her and you can’t forget Guimar from Glass slipper what are gorgeous outfits without the perfect shoes and accessories to go with them. Big shout out to her too . My entire youth and adulthood I have trusted this boutique with making every single outfit of mine being a true statement. I never want to wear the same outfit twice from this place because wherever I go with it, I know it’s ALWAYS remembered and complimented. From high school events, to weddings, to being a hairdresser and constantly having the pressure of being up to date with style and trends without having that natural grasp on fashion... these ladies have made every experience an easy one. They know they’re quality and sizes. They’re educated and so talented with knowing what will compliment your body type and what’s going to look absolutely amazing on YOU and only YOU. You’ll never see a piece from their replicated, they customize your experience and style to make sure it’s a one of a kind look. There is always a familiar face there when you shop, and if they’re not familiar you end leaving and meeting another awesome person who appreciates and loves the environment. And most of the time, you leave there with a really good belly laugh, or a great heart to heart. I cherish this place, I admire the mother-daughter duo and so grateful to know them. I’d like to share my experience at this store since it was the most horrifying thing I ever encountered .The lovely woman who manages the shoe store was absolutely outstanding however her daughter who runs the clothing store have a lot to learn from her mother. I purchased a pair of sandals for my son’s wedding with the help of her mother who phenomenally helped me pick out the perfect shoes for that special day and it was very much appreciated. Just as I stepped out to make my way to the wedding a strap broke on the shoe YES I did put it on as it was the plan but thank goodness I hadn’t made it to the venue. To my devastation and horror I ended up with a back up pair I bought for more comfort. Nothing can take away from this most amazing day for me and my family. I brought the shoes back and the store manager her mother was not only apologetic but also granted me a credit. For her daughter to imply that the shoe must have been too tight for my big foot and while she noted the shoes did not look properly fitted when I purchased them is not only rude but also indecent. As a good and honest business owner it should have been at the time of purchase and before I walked out with those shoes that her lips should have parted with that inconsiderate input. While her mother had enough integrity to point out the manufacturing of the product was lacking. The star here goes wholeheartedly to her mother as I think she was a perfect example of the saying “mother knows best” she could certainly learn some ethics. If one day she is privileged to stand in shoes that leads to the happiest day of a parent in a child’s life she will not be so profoundly disappointed.
This place is a necessity for me!!! I get alllll of my clothes and shoes from amara//glass slipper. Owners are amazing, prices are on point and everything is high quality: Can’t say enough good things about this place!!
