Hands down, Goddard is the BEST school around. Staff are ALL exceptional and highly qualified. I never have a worry when they are there. As a psychologist working with young children in school systems, Goddard staff truly care about my children and they are taking part in age appropriate and engaging activities daily. The school is safe and clean they even have a filter system for cleaner air. We receive updates and pictures throughout the day that make me feel at ease! No other school compares to Goddard!

Both of my sons attend The Goddard School on Schanck Road in Freehold one in the infant room and one in pre-K. We LOVE it. The staff are very responsive and happy to be there, the activities are age appropriate and engaging, the school is safe, fun, and welcoming to all. We receive updates on both boys throughout the day over email, and staff never hesitate to call us if something is needed or they have any concerns. I can't recommend this school highly enough! THE BEST!

When my youngest was born I had already planned for him to attend daycare just like my older son. I was prepared for disappointment bc that was my previous experience. My oldest attended 4 daycare centers in total before we finally found one that I loved in another town. All the centers had high turnover and I felt like every time my oldest son became comfortable with his teacher they were leaving. It was very upsetting. I also felt like those they were hiring were not highly skilled and some teachers just did not care about the children. Freehold Goddard came very highly recommended from a family member when I moved to Freehold. My son has been enrolled in Freehold Goddard since he was 4 months old and he is now in Pre-K. I can’t say enough nice things about the staff who have been there for my son since his very first day. The turnover is very minimal and teachers now feel like family. There are plenty of extra programs to keep the kids entertained. My experience here has been a blessing because any working parent knows how important it is to leave your child all day, you want to ensure they are safe, well cared for and happy. That has been our experience from day one. Absolutely love Freehold Goddard!

I can't say enough about the caring staff and warm atmosphere at the Goddard School! My son has been going there for 2 years and he absolutely loves going to school. Not only does the school have a great curriculum that teaches him valuable lessons, they make sure he gets a good amount of time to just be a kid and play! The teachers and staff all know my name and my husband's name other daycares just called us "Mom" and "Dad" at drop off/pick up, and they are very alert of everyone who walks through the door - makes us feel safe knowing they pay close attention. The teachers have also been so helpful during tough times when we had to give our son medication/treatments for what seemed like forever. They never made it seem like it was an inconvenience. We also always enjoy going to the school's special events - petting zoos, Easter egg hunt, photos with Santa. They offer so much and I truly feel like they are a big part of our family's community. Tuition is worth every penny, in my opinion!

It was a heartbreaking decision for me to place my 14 months old daughter in a daycare. She was very shy and very attached to her parents. I couldn’t imagine her being in someone’s hands even 5 mins long. I visited more than 15 daycares in our area and there was no place where I felt calm and confident. There were different places - cheap, expensive, fancy, not fancy, Montessori, regular schools etc. In fact, I was looking a second home for my baby regardless of a price and brand name. Goddard on Schanck Rd just won my heart! I loved everything - clean, bright and colorful classrooms, safe and attractive playground and of course the nicest staff I could ever hope for my daughter. The teachers in classroom are very experienced, kind, fun, and just wonderful, positive people that anyone would love to meet at the beginning of a busy day. The administration crew are not only people who keep EVERYTHING organized and up to the rule, they always are open to any questions and requests, they always care about you and wellbeing of your kid. Finally, I will never forget the kindness of the owner, Heidi, who met me in the lobby and gave a warm hug knowing that I was desperately missing my baby. Today, I see my daughter super happy, she’s having classes and fun every day, she has appropriate lunch and nap, all her needs are met timely and in a professional manner. She became sociable, she started smiling, shes got new numerous skills etc.. the changes are visible and impressive! I wish I could do more for the people who provide us with this feeling of happiness and safety. Hope this little “Thank You!” note will make them feel as good as I feel.

I visited 5 schools before enrolling my daughter at the Goddard School on Schanck Road, Freehold. Heidi, owner, took the time to answer all my questions ranging from the program, tuition, my daughter’s allergies, to the school’s emergency evacuation plans. The program focuses on STEAM science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics learning with fun, hands-on, and group activities. I was excited that my daughter will be learning these subjects before kindergarten and that she won’t be at home playing with the iPad and watching T.V. all day. I felt very safe leaving my daughter at this location. The front door is always locked with an electronic keypad. There are two offices near the front door to monitor people entering and leaving the front door. There are exterior security cameras and the building is up-to-date with a fire sprinkler system. Heidi and her staff are always available to answer any concerns. As long as they are in and available, you can reach out to them without making an appointment. This came in handy when I had a personal situation that affected my daughter. Heidi listened and gave me options to work with my family. At this point, Heidi further proved to me that she is more than just a franchise owner. She genuinely loves kids and wants them to succeed.

I love the staff at Goddard and so does my son. They are patient and kind. My son loves going to Goddard and when I went to pick him up recently he even said he wanted to stay so he could finish having one of his favorite stories read to him by his teacher. I have no worries when my child is in the care of the staff at Goddard.

Our son has matured tremendously in less than a year of Goddard's pre-K program. Going in, we didn't think he'd be prepared for Kindergarten; with several months left in the year, we know he could begin tomorrow and excel. His attention, work ethic, and respect for and knowledge of appropriate classroom and social rules and etiquette have all improved in all settings. He has blossomed in his short time at Goddard--we only wish we had considered it earlier for him!

I can not thank enough to the Goddard staff for the warmth, love and respect they show to our kids every day. I am sad that it's time for us to  leave Goddard and start on a new path,kindergarten, but ...what a wonderful place to start your child's education. Thank you Ms Heidi, Andrea, Yvette, Andrea and the rest of the staff for your dedication!!!
