The Great Room at Long Beach Lodge Resort

When I say the best location, the best environment, the best people anywhere...well these words do not even due Long Beach Lodge Resort justice. I can never imagine anywhere ever being able to outwear this place in any category ever. I felt like family the whole time and I can never thank all the people that helped or went out of there way or just came up and talked to me enough. You will forever be in my heart and soul and thank you is just never enough!!! Rooms: Immaculate...warm and cozy and every room a beautiful view. Nearby activities: So many things to see and do. Whale watching. Surfing. Paddle boards. Tours of islands. Hiking. Shopping. And the list goes on and on and on Safety: Tofino feels like family everywhere we went. We walked the beaches without worry, we walked the town without worry. Just beautiful. Walkability: People love to walk everywhere and if you think maybe a location may be just a bit too far then rent a bike or pad and just put around town...leave the big clank of a car where it belongs parked. Food & drinks: So much variety of food from a great many location to try, but the food at the lodge is out of this world. Great service and great amazing food. Noteworthy details: I love that people care so much here...people do for the environment what they can and for their neighbors and offer you talent and beauty and the atmosphere is that of peace and serenity. No stress found here

Dreamy Location & pure coziness. I honestly don’t have anything to criticize. We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the beautiful beach view and breathtaking sunsets at Cox Bay. I especially loved the restaurant which has the best view on the ocean and serves delicious food! The only thing I noticed that could be improved is that the gym could be a bit cleaner and that it would be great if towels or cups would be provided.

Wonderful resort. I started going to this Long Beach Lodge about 6 years ago. I take my family there every spring. I’ve tried a couple other resorts but you can’t beat this place. Cox bay is absolutely gorgeous and provides a spectacular view when eating in the restaurant. I stay in the cabins and it’s alwasy clean, presentable and well looked after. I would suggest if you’re looking for great cook wear, to bring your own as the pots and pans could use replacing. That being said it is a cabin… service is great so if you do need help or require assistance, they are very accommodating. The great room is a must eat. Chill vibes so no need to dress up. Food is fantastic, never had a bad meal and good prices for the level of service. Must stay, worth the money!

Had a great time here. Rooms very nice great bed, nice bathtub and shower, gas fireplace and felt private and, of course, right on Cox Bay Beach which is a beautiful place and world class beach. Vibes here are very surfing oriented. We experienced a bit of annoying noise in the room which seemed to be coming from inside building and our unit did not have cooling AC which was a bit of an issue at night because our balcony door did not have a screen on it. Again, overall experience of the room was great. The Great Room had a VERY GOOD breakfast. One of the best meals we had in Tofino! The SandBar Bistro was also good, the fries were ligit great.

We really enjoyed your sea side bar overlooking the ocean, especially because of the propane fire pits. It was one of our trip highlights! The establishment also looked beautiful and even though we didn’t stay here, we really enjoyed dinner there one evening. Thanks for the great service!Service: 5/5

Can't say enough good things about Long Beach Lodge. We stayed in their Penthouse Suite. The room was gigantic with an absolutely gorgeous view of Cox Bay. Beautiful balcony, perfect for sitting out and enjoying some drinks after the kids go to bed. Dinner at the Lodge was to die for. They are extremely celiac friendly. They have a dedicated GF fryer and SO MANY gluten free options, staff were extremely knowledgable and always provided me with options! Surf lessons were also incredible. Our instructor was so friendly and knowledgable. Both of us got up on our board and had a great time. The beach is also perfect, especially with little kids. We spent most of our time out front of the lodge with the kids scouring the beach for treasures. Can't recommend Long Beach Lodge enough. Great Family Vacation spot!!

A truly great experience! We’ve stayed in many places in Tofino, but what doesn’t compare is the friendly and community feel of Long Beach Lodge Resort. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed! The lodge offers many amenities. I was able to take part in a free yoga class. My husband surfed. You’re never far from amazing food! So many options. The sand toys for my 4 year old was a nice touch. Thanks for having us! We’ll be back.

Beautiful rooms, amazing comfortable bed, our “partial ocean view” had a complete view of the ocean and there was a lot of little touches like the jet tub / bath salts and French press with ground coffee that made this resort amazing. The star off was because it was quite expensive and for the price paid it was noisy guests overhead caused thumping noises, and those in an adjacent hallway and stairwell and was missing some quality of life features AC or even just screens on the patio door which would allow temperature regulation, there was screen on the back window but it was inadequate to cool the room at night because it was small and covered by a shade for privacy reasons as it looked out to a parking area. Some staff were also clearly stressed and cleaning staff did not our clean sheets just made our very sandy beds and forgot to leave some items on our last day. I’ve visited Tofino multiple times and this stands on par with Pacific Sands Resort next door. It has more options for food which are pretty good and the surf club is on site. Pacific sands is on a quieter part of the beach. The Wickannish is the best in terms of comfort and amenities but costs more. Food pictures are from the Great Room and include breakfast Eggs Bennie and Long Beach Bowl and dinner shrimp, scallops & pork risotto, and clam and chorizo tagliatelle.

Once again Long Beach Lodge was amazing! Front staff very friendly and professional, not sure why the gentleman was standing behind the ladies working. Just seemed a little odd. The food from room service was wonderful, Thank you to the kitchen staff. Even when the power went out, our stay was perfect. Watching the snow and sitting the fire place was so relaxing. One suggestion that I did mention at checkout this morning was to use a small snow removal device. bobcat Watching 5 staff members shovel snow the day before and waking up to more, was too much. There were 2 vehicles stuck at the front entrance when we left at 7:30am and it was not a good scene as we tried to leave the property. Is there new owners?

A magical and incredible experience. Fantastic rooms, excellent cleanliness, outstanding food experience. Impossible ask for a better way to spend your vacation. Only regret it was too short.Rooms: 5/5
