The Grove designs programming in the interests of the actor. There are many TV/Film educational studios in New York, we try and do things a bit differently.
We are a studio started by actors for actors. We get it - classes are expensive, waiting tables bites; this profession is hard enough as is, we're here to make things a bit easier. We offer affordable classes, with a low student-faculty ratio that helps our students further their careers while growing as artists along the way. Our team meets constantly to come up with new and innovative classes and ways to help actors better themselves.
We introduce our students to leading industry professionals. We're not solely a "networking" studio as we take a strong interest in our actors continued growth and success. Our core faculty exist to improve technique while helping actors discover their maximum potential and marketability. Our mission is guiding actors' in how to take the next step in a career. The entire faculty of The Grove is comprised of those currently working in the industry, this enables us to maintain close relationships with pivotal guest artists. We bring in casting directors, agents, screenwriters, directors, producers and more.
