After many phone calls I finally took a trip to Lemon Grove Shoe repair. Ignacio told me I didn't really need soles only heels. All the other shoe repairs I called quoted $45 to $65 dollars a d wanted to be paid up front. LGSR only requested a deposit. He's fair, and trust worthy! For now on, this will be my go to shoe repair!!!
Friendly and fast service. I took 3 pairs of birkenstock clogs to be repaired/resoled. They came out looking brand new each time.

They fixed my wingtips perfectly and the price was reasonable. They also fixed my bicycling shoes, which I'm sure was an unusual assignment for them. I glad to have a shoe repair shop in the neighborhood. So many of them have gone out of business because people usually just throw away old shoes and buy new ones.
Very bad experience. Took two pair of shoes to just have heel tips replaced on a Tuesday. Promised pickup for Friday, I said Monday would be the soonest I could. Went in on Wednesday, shoes still not repaired. He said he was too busy to get to them,but I should wait about ten minutes or so. That was the second time with Grove Shoe Repair doing that .Too busy to honor any customer's time is too busy. I waited the first-time it happened. Never going back to Grove Shoe Repair again.
Lemon Grove Shoe Repair lost my hand made shoes! and since I lost my ticket, the owner is using that to justify him no having the shoes repaired on time, or what is worst, not having them even in the premises! I went to look for them myself, they were not in the store. My nephew made those shoes for me! I have absolutely no need to waist my time in bad reviews, but this one, I cannot let go. I so regret that I used this service, because, had I had the ticket, he still would not have them, he lost them in the first place.
Had some wedges that fit perfectly and super comfortable, but broke a metal hook and could bo longer wear. Brought them here, fixed in 3 days now they're good to go. I'm so happy I didn't throw them away and found this place that was able to fix them
Had my wife's boot repaired there a couple of times. The sole was coming apart. She rarely wears these boots and they did not last I got to take it in and have it repaired again. The guy that runs the shop has a unfriendly attitude, shame cause I can walk to this place. Now I got to find someplace else to get it repaired because I am not taking it back.
