This is just you average hamburger stop with a price tag a little higher than normal. The burger with pineapple is good but lacked a teriyaki sauce, if it was there it was unnoticeable. Onion rings are over priced. The salads are good. The outdoor seating is great and supports a group of 8. I would still just opt to go to smash burger across the street. More options better food. I went here again and the service was top notch. I added another star. And the tropical ice tea is awesome. No sugar added just 100% fruit juices
I have loved the Habit since discovering it in Santa Barbara actually Goleta in the 80s. Was very excited to see one open in Citrus Heights years ago. The Santa Barbara burger is the best, and sides are excellent, too, especially the Tempura Green Beans. Today we received excellent service from Sam, too. He handled a crazy rush with incredible skill and grace, never seeming even slightly flustered, remaining composed, efficient and polite throughout. Give this young man a raise! He's a keeper!
We’ve been to this habit several times at different times of day and have had the same great consistent service every time. Food is always fresh, store is always clean, staff is always friendly. Priced fair for the quality you get. Will definitely be back.
Had an amazing time here. The burger was nearly perfect and i say nearly as size of the burger was a bit smaller than what I would have thought it would be.Loved the onion rings and the spicy beans which is a delicacy. Will surely visit again
My favorite burger. Just the right size, loaded with vegetables. Greeting with a smile when you enter, apologies is your food takes longer than expected. As far as atmosphere, it's a burger joint.Food: 5/5
Habit has some if the best burgers, always go for the Santa Barbara style. This location specifically is great, & would like to give a shout out to a “Kam?” there was a small problem with our food. He listened & fixed it so we were able to enjoy our burger experience.

You might go for their charburgers, but I go to the habit for their freshly-made salads. The Southwest BBQ chicken salad is one of my favorites. It's a delicious mixture of; chargrilled chicken, garden greens, fire roasted corn, bacon, pickled red onions, tomatoes, red cabbage, cilantro, feta cheese. Covered in barbecue sauce and served with a side of dressing. The cilantro lime ranch dressing has been discontinued, which is a major bummer. The corporation needs to bring back this yummy dressing. The best burger in the Citrus Heights Sunrise burger row. The ground beef is great but now they have so many other protean choices with the addition of Veggie Patty, Impossible Patty, Grilled Chicken and Ahi Tuna. The new Chicken Caprese sandwich is wonderful and my wife hopes it stays on menu. They have more than just great fries on the side. The Onion rings, Sweet potato fries, Tempura green beans are very good. Also covered heated outside seating for when you want to eat outside and listen to the sounds of traffic on a busy intersection.
