Airport restaurant focused on fast turnover. Diners typically waiting for a flight and restaurant is conveniently located right by escalators after US customs! I got a chicken sandwich… portion pretty small and chicken lukewarm, but not a lot of expectations to begin with. Solid 3 stars!
Stopped in for a quick breakfast before my morning flight. This place is always hopping but fortunately I was seated immediately. I appreciated that the service was quick and efficient. I enjoyed the veggie omelette and the tasty hash browns. Coffee was ok. The price is in line with other airport restaurants.
I've been in south Korea for a month and was looking forward to a western style breakfast. Due to a delay, I had a voucher and decided on the hearth. The eggs were more on the overeasy side but they still tasted good. I have to commend Suraj I think that's his name, he's new. He was attentive and checked on me often. I watched his interactions with others as well and he continued with the courtesy and attentiveness. My traveling through Toronto has not been easy both times so to have such a calming young man waiting on me was just what I needed.
Especially with how many people came through here so quickly, everything was wonderful, from the Humus appetizer to the Fish & Chips and Greek Salad for lunch. I would definitely return here when I fly through Toronto Airport again.Food: 5/5
It's an airport restaurant. But they have some healthy choices. I had the beet salad with shrimp and it was good. The cheesecake was really good though. Made in house and fresh.
Best airport resturant food that I have had. Lovely fresh chicken and beetroot salad. Great service, thanks Suzy!Food: 5/5
This is a good place to grab a meal before a flight. We has time to kill so tje slow service was perfect. The flatbreads were great and the hummus was pretty good too.
Worry-Free Dining at the Airport!! I often travel for business out the gates near The Hearth. I eat have eaten here a few times and always have a worry-free experience. What I like about the Hearth is that they change up the menu every few months, so there are new items to try. On most visits, I'm seated quickly, the server comes to my table quickly and the food comes out fairly fast. I'm not always looking for Michelin Star quality when I'm travelling, just food that's good quality and of course tastes good. I have tried the burgers, the chicken sandwiches and salads, and always for the most part the food is pretty good. If you are at Terminal One and want something to eat before heading to the sometimes distant F-Gates then give the Hearth a shot. I haven't tried everything but so far I haven't eaten anything I didn't like, my advice is always with airport restaurants, stick to what you like and you should be okay. In terms of pricing, just like any other airport, the food costs are above average compared to restaurants outside an airport but on par with higher-priced hotel meals.
Quite possibly the worst fish and chips I have ever eaten. The batter was thick and the fries were soggy and had a weird taste to it… re used oil ? Not worth the $28 !
Easy, fuss free dining at the airport. I mean for an airport restaurant, they do a good job. Pretty standard menu with staples catering all food choices. Tried their fettuccine Alfredo and it was decent. They also have grab and go bar with cold sandwiches and yogurt parfaits for those in a rush.
