Denise Meeks started baking her special little pies while living on the California coast. Having a desire in her heart to follow God, and slow down her life, she packed up her pie pans and food processor and head south.
Her pies have been proclaimed as being 'life-changing,' 'mood altering,' and just plain ole' "Girl, them pies is good."
And they are.
Under codes sustained in the law, Denise makes her pies to sell at farmers markets, festivals and such events, and that is it.
She has been known to give away many pies, just because.
To 100 percent all that she does, baking, selling and whatever else, follow God, and she means it.
Mini 4 to 6 inch pies. The cost ranges from $2.50 to $3.00 a pie.
Sweet Potato "It was the first one that I started doing." She says it is God-made, and her customers say it is heavenly.
She also does a small cheesecake and pecan pie.
But there won't be a big one made until God says do it. And she means it.
